“I grew up in Vista. For about 40 years, I've been eating strawberries🍓, raspberries, corn🌽 and other local produce from this stand. They grow the sweetest strawberries🍓. They make the best preserves. Since you can see the fields as you drive by on Vista way, and we've never noticed a sign on the stand, my dad always called this place "Strawberry🍓Hill." Most of the strawberries🍓you buy in the big chain grocery stores are a cultivar that is grown because it ships well. These strawberries🍓are a cultivar that are super sweet but can damage easily when trying to transport. Since they're going directly from farm to table, they can grow the better tasting strawberries. That's the main reason why you'll never find strawberries🍓as good as these in the big chain grocery stores. I hope that this farm stand will be here another 40 years, but it's doubtful with the need for new housing. Give this produce stand a shot. You won't regret it!”

“Went in the afternoon on 11/26/25. Needed a big pumpkin for a craft I wanted to do. They still have a great amount of them and they are in fantastic condition. The one I selected was very large and he gave it to me for only $5 bucks!! Squeeee!! They are closed on Thanksgiving to celebrate the holiday…they are open on Friday 11/28/25. So many super fresh veggies! Lettuces, celery, green beans, oh the tomatoes are gorgeous, cucumbers, Mexican squash, parsley - they had strawberry plants for sale and flats of them too. It is cash only, no cards. Really a great place. Absolutely recommend🙌🏻”

“Best strawberries on the planet. Other great produce as well, tomatoes, etc. Celery is more tender, less strings and twice the flavor as any store. Driving 45 minutes each way today just for strawberries. Cash only and they're closed on Tuesdays.”

“Unfortunately I will not be supporting this local business because of how their workers conduct themselves. Extremely rude, they were blocking traffic today for an extended period of time, including the center lane. When I asked the guy to move to the center lane to wait for whatever he was waiting for instead of blocking miles of traffic he flipped me off and continued to block the road.”

“I've been getting my produce from here for years. Yesterday I purchased a bag of Valencia Oranges and they were very tart. The 3 pack of strawberries were under ripe and no favor.”
