“This farm looks small from afar but it’s well spread out. I love that you can pick flowers, strawberries and blueberries all in one day. They also sell honey and other flowers. Be sure to check out the retail section at the farm stand where you pay your admission fees before you explore. Be sure to dress accordingly because the entire farm is on dirt. There are portable potties available next to the animals and u-pick fields. Parking: Free parking unless it’s an event. When you turn in, skip the first entrance on your left (it says exit only). Drive up past the fence and u-turn into the same lot. There are a few Handicap spaces between the blue cones. Admission: Walk up to the farm stand to the person with the cash register. Ranunculus season is coming to an end so it was free to enter but cost if you want to cut flowers. Strawberry season is in. They are so red, ripped, easy to get to but sadly sour at the moment. $10 for small bucket, $15 for large, those without buckets are $5 entry fee. Blueberries are starting to be in season. They have 4 types that started blooming since January and throughout the year. U-pick is only on Fridays from 2-5pm because of the limited quantity. They are grown in pots. $6 entry for each person and you get a small container. Path: Ranunculus are at the very far end. To get to the strawberry fields, you follow the red fence walk way over the hill. It’s about 5 minutes. There’s a person there to greet you and hand you a bag after. Across from the strawberry field is the watermelon field. That’s not available for u-pick. Next to that is the blueberry area. Activities: -Certified Farmers Market on Fridays 2-6pm. You can come to pick blueberries and hang out after wards. -A shaded area with chairs and tables to hang out. -Animals and giant empty spare tires for kids to hang out. -Check their socials often as there are events throughout.”

“We had a great time visiting Mellano Farm Stand in Oceanside! Pick-Your-Own Flowers – Walking through rows of beautiful blooms and picking our own flowers was such a peaceful and fun experience. The fields are colorful, scenic, and great for photos. Local Vendors – We enjoyed browsing the vendor booths. Fresh Watermelon – You have to try the watermelon! Great selection and options to choose from. Jumpies for the Kids – The bounce houses were a big hit with the kids! Tractor Rides – The tractor ride around the farm was a fun and bumpy adventure that gave us a nice view of the property and all the activities happening. Food Truck – Great options and quick service! 🅿️ Plenty of Parking – Easy, hassle-free parking made the experience that much better. Overall, Mellano Farm Stand is a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to spend a fun and relaxing day outdoors.”

“We went for the first weekend of the watermelon and lavender fest and it was really fun and pretty and everyone was really kind and helpful. You can purchase entry to the flower fields for $7 adults,$5 kids, and separately you can purchase a bucket which gives you the ability to pick as many flowers (French and English lavender and multiple colors of zinnias) that fit in the bucket for $12. There's also a hayride and some bouncy house stuff for kids to play on. We also got the lavender and watermelon lemonades. I loved the lavender, It was worth the journey there! You can also purchase fresh watermelon for $8 and they can pick it for you or you can pick it yourself. There were honey tastings and my favorite vendor Booth was pure passion which sold some amazing gluten-free bread and unique delicious jams like pear, vanilla and jalapeno mango.”

“We had such a wonderful time at Mellano Farm Stand. The tractor ride was relaxing and gave us beautiful views of the fields, and the strawberry picking was a hit with the kids! The berries were sweet, fresh, and easy to find. We also loved flower picking — the colors were stunning and made for perfect photos. Everything felt authentic and family‑friendly, with staff who were kind and helpful. Highly recommend spending a morning here for a wholesome, hands‑on farm experience! 🌸🍓🚜”

“They have a great selection of strawberries, blueberries, lavendar and more. Staff was amazing. Tons of places to sit under the shade. 3 trays of strawberries for $10. I will be back on a friday night”

“Very friendly, but not much selection. The baby goats (kids) were very cute.”

“I don't know if this place is under new management or what but very disappointing visit this weekend. The strawberry picking is OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced. Family of 3 (with only 2 of us picking) with a small cup for each, came out to $45?! In total maybe 10-12 strawberries brought home, I'm sorry what? $45 for 10 strawberries? I had already promised my child strawberry picking so I didn't ask for a refund and went along with this crazy price anyway but most certainly never returning. Do you know how many strawberries I can get at the farmers market or grocery store for $45? and certified Organic ones too. Also for the love of god those poor animals need more space, it's 93 degrees and they are all crammed in tight cages with not much room to roam, they all look so miserable. Why even have them if they can't be fed by visitors and the chickens don't produce eggs to sell at the stand? what is the point of having them? the produce stand always has like 2 carrots, 2 avocados, barely anything to buy. Yeah we're definitely done with this "farm stand".”
