“The selection of Avocado trees at local nurseries was really poor, so I was thrilled to find Kingmans’s. I bought a nice Reed and Fuerte, and the Haas was 8 feet tall in a 15-gallon container! Open hours are a bit limited but it’s well worth finding this hidden gem - a couple all the way from East county was there when I visited. Aside from great plants, John, the owner, had great advice on the planting process. If you want a great Avocado if practically an variety - or other fruit trees - Kingman’s is a great resource!”

“Made 3 trips to his place… first, texted & made an appointment to see his Avocado trees. Picked out 3 & 2 Orange trees. Marked them & made another appointment for the very next day, came back with a truck and loaded up all of them. Texted him 10 days later and made another appointment to pickup a Peach tree. It became too much for him & after check was made out He refused the sail and returned the check. trying to support local business but dude was not all there. Don’t have a business with contact info if you can’t manage the simple communications from customers and future business. Terrible experience, that I’ll share with all locals.”
