Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The very best blueberries you will ever taste and the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet!! Picking blueberries at Campbells is an annual family event that we look forward to all year long...this is a quiet, out of the way farm and the berry bushes are very well tended, no pesticides used and so many large, sweet berries. We LOVE Campbell Blueberry Farm!!”

“Drove 35 mins 1 way on a Friday afternoon to find a locked gate and sign saying opened Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays 8:30-11:30, Google said they were open and i did not see set times or days on Facebook. Please post on Google maps and Facebook to help prevent confusion for customers.”
