“Dirt Poor Farm in Sweetwater, TN, is more than just a place to buy fresh food—it’s a place where people come together and good things grow. Each season brings special events like the Strawberry, Peach, Sweet Corn, Watermelon, and Fall Festivals. These fun-filled days include fresh fruits and veggies, bouncy houses for the kids, popcorn, cotton candy, food trucks, music, and local vendors. On Food Truck Friday Nights, the farm comes alive with even more delicious food, live music, and friendly faces. Families, neighbors, and friends gather to enjoy the evening and make lasting memories. The farm also offers peaceful mornings with “Coffee & Yoga on the Farm,” where you can stretch, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a cup of coffee in a calm, beautiful setting. Owned and lovingly run by the West family—Kyle, Chelsea, and their children Raylon and Gentry—Dirt Poor Farm is built on love, hard work, and a deep care for the land and the community. Whether you visit for the food, the fun, or the peaceful moments, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and connected.”

“This place is a hidden treasure. The farm offers all kinds of fruits and vegetables that are in season. The staff was very courteous and knowledgeable, meeting all the vendors and customers' needs. This was my first time, but definitely won't be my last time going here. Everyone needs to come see this place for themselves, especially if there is a festival being held, the music was fantastic, loads of vendors, selling anything from home baked goods, to food trucks selling Thai food, atmosphere was on point. You won't be disappointed.”

“I brought my family out to Dirt Poor Farm today for their first ever Strawberry Festival. I was amazed by the crowd that was drawn to this event for this to be their first ever Strawberry Festival. There were over 60 vendors with plenty of activities to make it a great time for my kids. I look forward to seeing the other festivals they have lined up for this year!”

“My neighbor wanted fresh tomatoes and Silver Queen Corn so I decided to try Dirt Poor out after a FB post. They did not disappoint. They have a wide variety of fresh veggies and great customer service! I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Very friendly staff, and well informed. They have good quality produce picked fresh daily. In some cases multiple times a day. Give them a try, I think you will find the vegetables very good.”

“Great fresh farm produce. Lady i talked to was very nice and helpful. I would recommend, Awesome business..”

“I ordered a local farm-share CSA box from them in April, but I received a box of grocery store produce that contained non-seasonal items like unripe tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, plus a variety of apple that is only grown in Washington State. I finally received a refund from the delivery service, but this farm never responded to my customer service requests. I don't know if it's the farm or the delivery driver doing the fraud, but either way they don't appear concerned to resolve the problem. Do NOT recommend!”

“This produce is neither local nor organic. They left the grocery store tag on from peru, also it contains maggots. This “farm” lacks integrity and honesty. Unless you want to pay more for grocery store produce, I would never buy from them. Visit the real farmers at the farmers market.”
