“We really enjoyed visiting and doing the tour to see the robotic milking machine, the cattle and the cheese tasting. David, our tour director was not only outstanding at explaining all the details of the milking operation and details on the cows, his humor was very appreciated! Everyone at the farm was extremely friendly and made us feel most welcome. After tasting most of the 30 different variations available we did end up purchasing 2, smoked habenero and black pepper. We strongly suggest anyone interested in farm life, milk production, cheese making, etc., take the time to visit Sweetwater Valley Farm. It really was extremely educational and informative. A very enjoyable experience.”

“We had a great time at Sweetwater Valley Farm! The surroundings are picturesque and the cafe/ farm store are so charming. We enjoyed sandwiches and milkshakes. My only complaint is that the wait for the milkshakes was close to 30 minutes. This didn’t bother us too much because we understand it’s more of an experience than a grab-and-go place. We went inside the cheese shop and sampled different cheeses. They were all tasty and we went home with a block of the garlic and roasted pepper cheese. We will absolutely be back and would love to tour the dairy farm next time!”

“This was a great stop. We were able to try some amazing cheese products. We settled on some farm fresh cheese, smoked Gouda, onion and chive cheese, and some elk summer sausage. After cheese shopping we went right next door and had a milk shake. We wanted the grilled cheese but missed the grill cut off time of 3:00pm. The milk shakes were amazing I got the peanut butter and my wife had the strawberry. We bought some items at the gift shop as well. This is a great stop to make. I would recommend being a little early for some of the food items.”

“Great place to eat and shop! Sweetwater Valley offers tours of the dairy farm, a seed-to-table grilled cheese restaurant, and two stores to shop in. An absolute must if you’re driving through Philadelphia!”

“What a wonderful experience just going through the gift shop, cafe and of course the cheese shop. And I haven't even started the dairy tour yet. I love this place!”

“Stopped in the Seed to Sandwich Cafe at Sweetwater Valley Farm for lunch before heading over to The Lost Sea. Family of four and we each ordered a sandwich and some "moolkshakes". I had the Meat Melt with both ham and turkey. Others in the party got the Buttermilk & BBQ, and The Classic w/ bacon. Sandwiches were cooked perfectly. Great crunch from the griddle! Mine wasn't made at the same time as the rest of the family so I had to go ask and they had forgotten to make it. But it didn't take long to get. The Melt has A LOT of cheese! I almost wish I had gone with the BBQ sandwich, but it was okay on meat flavor, nothing super great. Now the milkshakes were good. We ordered cake batter, peanut butter and chocolate, and Biscoff cookie butter. Hands down the Biscoff one was the best. It was delicious. Milkshakes seemed to take a bit longer to get than food based on others in the restaurant ordering both at the same time and their food came out faster. We ordered ours after our lunch and didn't realize that or we'd have ordered them at the same time. The Cafe itself is a big barn and is very cool. There is also a gift shop inside for take home products like cheese and pickles as well as typical gifts type items you'd expect. Would definitely go back if we're ever through the area again!”

“Our tour guide was well-spoken and knowledgeable about the operations, but for $16, I expected more live looks at the cheesemaking process. That was only shown to us on video. The robotic milking operation was interesting, but you couldn’t see all that much. The cheese shop was the highlight of the day. They offered lots of samples of the cheese and sausage made there. I thought the elk sausage and the Italian pesto were the best! We also found some unique jams that we can’t wait to try!”

“Looking for dairy products around Laudon, Tennessee? This is the place to go. Their coolers are full of every sort of cheese and dairy products that you have been looking for and then some. Free tastings before you buy their products. It is a bonus to have one of their country style meals at their diner just across their parking lot.”
