A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“What an amazing blueberry farm with the most delicious berries to pick! The experience of picking the berries was so beautiful and fun for the whole family. My 13 yo & 3 yo truly enjoyed themselves (and that’s a hard thing to do!). The best part- they’re pesticide free! So you can eat em right off of the bush. I’ve already made blueberry ice cream and muffins with these berries and WOW!! So so good! Truly. They elevated my already tasty muffins to a whole new level. I’ll definitely be coming back this season, and future seasons. Thank you, Jeff and Jana for such a wonderful experience!”

“When Honey’s is in season, usually Memorial Day weekend to mid-July, you can stop along Highway 70, take a bucket from the shack, and pick your own blueberries. You’ll weigh them at the end and pay only $3.50 per pound! What a bargain, because these are some of the freshest, most perfect blueberries you’ll ever eat! And they’ll accept cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal!”

“Such a great self-service experience. We picked so many good sized sweet berries for tonight’s dessert and to make a jam. With twenty different varieties of blueberries, there’s something peaking all the time throughout the summer, so we’ll make our way to the farm again soon. Next year, I heard there will be blackberries and raspberries that were planted.”

“Our favorite berry picking place in the area, a ton of varieties being grown and the owners are very helpful and friendly. There’s even a nice picnic table in the shade for people who need to cool down on the hotter days! We were able to pick 10lbs in 1-2hr a couple weeks ago focusing almost entirely on just a few bushes.”

“Great experience! Delicious berries. Edited 9/17/2020: for clarification purposes the farm has changed ownership. The previous owners guaranteed 100% natural blueberries but the new owners will be incorporating questionable practices and it is not guaranteed that the berries will be"clean"”

“My family had a wonderful time visiting their farm. They have so many different varieties of blueberries! The owners were very kind and helpful. We look forward to visiting their farm again.”

“Honeys Blueberry Farm was such a simple and fun time with the family. We look forward to going again this season and many more to come!”

“Beautiful farm very well kept. First time visitors and will definitely be returning when more berries are ripe!!”
