“This place is amazing- I went out to see where my teen Oisin is being a working man in the field, and was treated to astoundingly delicious grilled eggplant and kale by grillmaster and farmer Matt. He picked the eggplant from the vine, rinsed, chopped and grilled with a little Balsamic, salt and happy secrets. Divine. Go on and pick up your fresh grown veggies from their weekend Edgemere farm stand and buy tickets to tonights fundraising dinner! You will be so glad that you did. :)”
“I give much respect🫡 to all that have stuck 🚜with and continue to make things happen🧺. A once bunch of lots into what it is now. I have passed by on many occasions and have seen 👨🏾🌾different👨🏽🌾 individuals👨🌾 working on it. Even more so, city kids and teens. Know they see🐓 what it takes🐔 to make whats seen in the stores🏪! I would like to go on and on about it! But I'll just leave it. My point has been made. I 🤔 💭?”
“It's really great to be able to get locally grown produce in Rockaway. The fruits and veggies are much fresher than you would get at a larger grocery store. The staff is really nice. They are knowledge about the food, where it came from and how to best prepare them. The woman who helped me today gave my 2 year old son some goodies... A very nice gesture! Will be a regular there”
“Fresh produce grown without any pesticides or chemicals. Friendly and knowledgeable farmers that will help you with anything you need. They also sell seeds and house plants, and give great free advice! Worth the trip to see the farmers market on the weekends.”
“Actually this is Far Rock Farm run by youths in the community. Great place to visit for farm fresh produce, organic eggs and farm tour for children. Wonderful group of people at Far Rock Farm.”
