“I have been buying from Elwood Orchard for many years, and each year I wait impatiently for them to reopen. Best produce anywhere, and the Fuorolis are the best people you will meet anywhere. I think their farming is an act of love as much as anything else. One summer I had mentioned that my cousin was ill and I was spending time in nursing home with her. The next summer the first thing Jean said to me was "How is your cousin". I am just a customer, not a personal friend. Pretty special people! Al once offered to pass a book on to me when I saw he was reading it. All they grow is great and fairly priced. Be sure not to miss their wide selection of garlic. Thank you, Jean and Al.”

“Without doubt, this is one of the best apple-picking experiences of my life. The owners really care about the fruit and the trees. There’s even a map of all the different varieties, along with when they ripen. I would warn. There are many orchards in the area with rides and a kind of carnival around the picking experience. I wouldn’t come here looking for that. If you are into organic apples and peaches and a low-key, peaceful picking experience, then this is an excellent option.”

“We absolutely LOVE Elmwood Orchard! Super sweet owners and super sweet apples! We drive an hour to and from every year for their organic apples and apple cider. This time we were in the area and stopped by on a whim to see if they had any cider. Thank God we stopped when we did! We scooped up the last 2 gallons of Organic Cider. Amazing!! Best yet!! Can't say enough about this hidden organic gem! Already looking forward to more cider next year!!!”

“An organic orchard less than 60 mins from Boston! A rare find indeed. Despite the modest size relative to conventional orchards, there's plenty of variety of apples, garlic, squash, pears, mushrooms, and more. Check the website to see what's in season. Friendly staff. Prices are equal to or less than what you'd pay at Whole Foods for organic. Their tasty, freshly made apple cider is awesome. We'll be back year after year!”

“We go here every year and consider it a family ritual. The nectarines are the best I have ever had! They have a great variety of organic apples. They also have pears, plums, honey, garlic, etc. The owners are friendly and it is a great place to bring kids. We used to live 10 minutes away, but we moved 2 hours away. We still plan to make the trip back for the season.”

“So many varieties of apples to pick! It’s a lot of fun to grab a map and try a bunch of different ones. I love that they are all organic. And the cut your own flowers bed has a lot of beautiful options. The couple who run this orchard are very kind. We look forward to it’s opening every year.”
