Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maryland.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Our little family had a wonderful time here for pumpkin picking and their fall festivities! There was a shocking amount to do besides pumpkins, and it was blissfully a slower speed than some of the larger farms (like Butler's or Larriland) we have been to. There was a cute little pumpkin patch, a little duck water race, bubbles, cars you could drive around, a boat, a big hay stack, a working excavator...and that's just the half we got to! I'd highly recommend this venue for folks with young kiddos and toddlers, with the note that it's not a tourist trap, it's a small husband and wife farm operation focused on sustainable farming.”

“What an incredible place. I was looking for a pumpkin patch to take my grandchildren to in the middle of the week and in the evening. All the area pumpkin patches close early. I emailed them and asked for an appointment in the evening and they were quick to respond an invite me to come by. Fantastic place. Very pleasant and friendly people. The property was well maintained and gave easy access to the pumpkin patch. Not crowded at all. Overall a pleasant evening. Thank you very much for your hospitality.”

“This was a wonderful farm to bring my 9 year old daughter. She saw the cows, and was able to race another kid with the pedal tractors. We spent 3 hours here. Highly recommended.”
