Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch

“My daughter is a big fan of Tulips 💐 we went today to the farm, we arrived around 11:30 and finished around 4:30pm!! We had a wonderful time!! We paid $20 extra to pickup tulips for me it was completely worth it!! My daughter also feed the animals a big cup for $3!! They have many games, big slide, train, playground areas, mining rocks etc !!We totally love and had an amazing time!! You need to get extra money if you are thinking in eating in there, they had burgers, hot dogs, fries, cheese bites, pork pulled, ice cream and other things, food was also delicious and fresh!! ♥️♥️♥️”

“My best friend was visiting from out of state - and tulips are one of her favorite flowers. The last few hours before her flight were spent enjoying the all the beautiful blooms, walking the farm, and admiring the animals. Today was gorgeous and this was such a pleasant place to spend it! We came for the flowers but were surprised with how much there was to explore! Not to mention the staff were so helpful and sweet! There were nice clean restrooms! And there were a fair amount of fun free activities! I had a really good time and made some great memories here!”

“I had went there for one of the Great American kite festivals and it really has a lot of things to do there. It has farm animals especially goats and strawberries you can pick even if that cost a bit extra and mostly this place is like Vala's pumpkin patch and even the Berry farm in Nebraska and it is something that I recommend if you have kids to take and even had a paintball target shooting and maybe I would like to go back there during the month of October?”

“We had a fabulous time at Fun Farm. We went and picked apples and they are delicious! One thing I would change would be getting in. I feel like there should be a line designated to season holders or ones that bought online. But other than that we had a fantastic time!”

“Been here for the tulips & berries before, but hitting it on a day w/ no kids around was a game changer. I’m 32, but it was just a great reminder of what it feels like to unplug & have fun w/o a care because My girlfriend & I got to hit the slides a few times & got to explored the wooden structures, & ride the swings. We also climbed up on the giant chair + wewalked away w/ a solid haul of fresh strawberries. The whole day was just pure, lighthearted energy so we are already planning to come back for apple season.”

“If you plan to go to the Tulip Festival, make sure you check how the weather has been. 2025s festival was spectacular, but in 2026 the Midwest had days of very warm weather, then sudden temperature drops,frost, and snow. The poor tulips really suffered this year and the blooms (while still beautiful) are not as many or as outstanding as in previous years. I was actually wishing that some kind of discount coupon be given out at time of entrance for maybe a discount on food or something in the gift shop. Sad year for the tulips, but hope they will be better next year.”

“I know it’s late in the season but the strawberries were almost gone and all the beds are overgrown. It cost quite a bit to get in but they do have a lot of animals which was fun,. The carousel was half broken and falling apart. What makes me really upset was the chicken pen. They have far too many roosters all of them are beat up. They have day old chicks that have no safe space or little feeder or water. They are surviving on scraps and spills off the ground.!”

“Do not go to Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch. Admission was extremely overpriced. I paid $82 total for myself and my two children, ages 6 and 11, and the overall experience did not justify the cost. Most of the “photo op” areas were broken or poorly maintained. Multiple attractions throughout the property looked neglected. We mainly came for the Giant Kite Festival. We arrived about 30 minutes after opening, and there was only one giant stingray kite in the air and another kite that looked like a parachute. About 45 minutes later, there were two stingray kites. Around an hour later, a gorilla kite finally went up. By the time we were leaving, they were just beginning to set up another kite. For a featured event, I expected the main attractions to already be operational when guests arrived. The kids’ play area was actually pretty good, and my children enjoyed it. The giant inflatable jumping pillow was also fun. Outside the gift shop they had giant bubble wands with a bucket of soapy water, but there wasn’t enough soap mixture in the bucket to actually make bubbles, so it was basically unusable. The “critters” section was awful. They charged $3 for half a small cup of animal feed, but we could barely even approach the animals because the smell was overwhelming. I understand farms smell like animals, but this was beyond normal. The pens appeared severely overcrowded and hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. There was little to no visible grass, only mud and feces throughout the pens. The tricycle track only had six tricycles available, and half of them were broken or unusable. At the carousel, there was a loud mechanical clunk when they started it. Staff told someone to move because the gear on that section was broken, then continued operating it. The kites being sold were massively overpriced compared to their actual value. There was also a giant bench swing that appeared to exist only as a photo prop because it was chained so it couldn’t even swing. At the giant slide, the potato sacks used for sliding were piled in a box and most of them underneath were wet and moldy. The pick-your-own strawberries were priced at $5 per pound, which also felt overpriced considering the overall condition of the farm. Overall, this place felt poorly maintained, overcrowded, and not worth the cost of admission. I will not be returning.”
