Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“It was AWESOME! So much fun, and the staff very friendly. We loved it, went 2 years ago, our first time. This year we took a friend, also her first corn maze experience. Hay ride was fun corn maze and animals to visit and satisfy that Autumn curiosity! Prices are reasonable. One suggestion though is that it would be nice to see some little rest stops along the way of the corn maze, for those like me, with disability and handicapped sized restrooms, better hand washing facilities. Some people are disabled and of larger size, very hard to squirm around to use the stenberg sitters they had for bathrooms and NO hand washing available. Only a little hand sanitizer in the stenbergs, but sometimes good old fashioned soap and water is what is needed. As for the corn maze, it is realized that getting lost in the corn is part of the adventure, and they did offer 1 mobility scooter available for the disabled. However, some people are disabled but are kinda in between... they're too healthy to need a mobility scooter, but too unhealthy to just keep walking and walking nonstop, carefully picking their way among the ruts and rocks, with canes and hoping not to trip and fall. Hips, backs and legs get sore, especially if it takes awhile to find the way out of the maze. This is my experience. I don't need a scooter but I do use a cane and have trouble walking for an extended period due to pain it causes. I can walk with the help of the can, but I need to take periodic tests where I need to sit a couple minutes to relieve aching joints. People don't realize what effort it takes to enjoy the simple things until they are in those shoes. The maze is very fun, but it would be even better if they could realize the needs of someone like me, and provide some benches or stools at various stations throughout the corn maze. Several times, I have to stop and rest a few minutes, from aching hips but it doesn't help the back when no place to sit. I'm over 50, arthritis and no cartilage in one of my knees. Therefore I cannot very easily sit on the ground and then get back up when I need a few minutes rest before continuing on through the maze. So not trying to complain, just a suggestion to help understanding for people like me be able to enjoy it better. What's so hard to put a few simple wooden benches along with your checkpoints?”

“A lot of fun. Excellent place to bring a date or the family for some relaxation. Very affordable on any budget and the staff are great people. Worth traveling to go and visit. The pumpkin tractor ride is a fun way to get your carving pumpkins and share an educational experience on farmculture. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Propane heating torches are installed to keep people warm and many very reasonably prices food and beverages can be enjoyed . Lots of places for kids to run around and play as well as a bon fire thats close by for the parents. The corn maze is an absolute treat to go through and can be done during the day or night. Very fun for any age .”

“We love that you pay one price for everything! Enjoyed the slide, corn maze, and corn box. The hay ride to see all the colored leaves. We liked the new additions since we were there a few years ago. (cute photo areas)”

“I just went for the very first time today with my family. We had the absolute best time. We love everything you do and have there for your family to do.We will definitely be back next year ❤️”

“Such an amazing experience! Kids had a blast, along with adults. The maze was so fun, along with the cats, pumpkins, hay ride, and food.”

“We enjoyed our visit quite a bit. A nicely maintained corn maze and had a great hay ride”

“Was very fun and budget friendly. $8 entry fee. $1 for the little kids tractor pull.”

“Won't allow my dog in that's 8 weeks old but let's a female woman bring her 3 year old shihtzu in. Sexist and won't return. That is my shoe for reference. He is tiny.”
