Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I'm 40 now and when I had turned 30 I developed an allergy to apples. I was completely devastated. I grew up in Michigan so naturally I loved Honerycrips. A coworker of mine gave me a slice of your Honerycrips and for the first time in 10 years I was able to enjoy a Honerycrips. Your story is incredible and based on love and faith it's inspiring. I have yet to get back to get more and have been craving them ever since. I recommend highly Pleasant View Orchard. Their honey is the only honey I used after another friend gifted me some. I can't wait to get more apples. Oh and the apple pockets are so incredibly amazing. 🤤🤤🤤🤤”

“Pleasant View Orchard was a great place to pick apples. The staff were super friendly. We visited at the end of the season, so it was a little cool picking apples however there were still plenty to choose from. All of their apples looked great and even tasted better than they looked. My favorite was the Snow Sweet, a really sweet and crunchy apple. They also have Wolf River apples that are huge (some are over a pound each). They also have bakery items and cider. I highly recommend visiting.”

“Carol and Co. do such a great job with anything they do. Snickerdoodle cookies? Best in the area. Same with their raspberry pies, pie pockets, molasses cookies, cinnamon twists, cardamom bread, cinnamon bread... I could just list everything they sell but honestly, just find something you usually like and order it here. Then enjoy them doing it better than any bakery you've ever experienced before.”

“Delicious apples! Beautiful orchard! Unfortunately they were sold out of most of their products as we came during a weekday but we did get to try their delicious cookies. I look forward to when we can sample their other goods. Very nice folks and would recommend to others.”

“So happy I had the ability to stop by on my trip up north to buy some fresh apples and baked goods! Great place for baked goods, apples, apple cider, etc. The apple cider sells quick! You can call ahead I've learned to reserve some before it's all gone however.”

“This is by far the best bakery for that homemade bread, pies, cookies and pastries. Our family enjoy the cinnamon twists - they are amazing! The owners are so gracious and friendly! It’s that small town feel when you walk in!”

“Called last week. The only number listed online. The woman was rude. I wanted to know what apples were u pick. I don't know I work in the bakery. Click hung up. Didn't offer a number. Message online today to check again, got a quick response. Drive 95 miles one way today. U pick snowsweet 16# $35. Out of the cooler 1/2 peck of ginger gold $10 and peck zeststar $19. In the pics bag is what I picked, than yellow ginger gold and red out of bag zeststar. Finger went through 2 of the 6 half rotten zeststar apples. So 20 zeststar, 8 have some sort of rot spot. Ginger gold 11 apples, 3 have rot spots. Plus a few others should have never been in the bag. Called when I got home left a message to make it right. Waiting. I will give feed back if I get a call. I go every year at some point during apple season for past 5 years. So DISAPPOINTED 😔 Edit: I got a response on messenger. The owners didn't realize the apples were past their prime. And are embarrassed they sold them to me. They are making it right and I respect that. What was a 1 star review is now 4 Because the apples I picked were great, and I love the great customer service. But the lady was unnecessarily rude when I called that's why it's not 5.”

“Very good apples with bakery pruducts too. Only open summer and fall. Very nice people and busy in the summer.”
