Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ontario.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: Mastercard, VISA. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

What visitors say

“Sorry St. Jacob's Market - this is better....Always high quality produce. We visit each year (they allow people to call ahead to reserve - eg 2 bushels of SanMarzanos - so they're not sold out when we arrive) and we get up to 3 bushels of the tastiest San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, onions and whole bushes of basil for our canned tomatoes and sauce. Fresh has never tasted better. NOT ONE BAD TOMATO and so tasty; same for quality and taste of the rest. We really appreciate their advice. Always worth the drive (and who doesn't love Niagara Region!) - see you next year!”

“Great PYO cherries this season! We went early on to pick cherries (because my family likes them a bit sweet and tart) , there were so many cherries on the trees. Pricing of the baskets are great too, $30 for the 7ltr and $20 for the 4ltr. If you want the baskets there is a charge but they do offer bags without charge after you're done using the baskets. Highly recommend farm that is an hour away from home. The people were pleasant as well!”

“Went for cherry picking 🍒🍒this summer with my Fiancé, my first ever experience of Pick my own berries and it was just fabulous and beyond my expectations. Cherries were mouth watering, also the farm was well maintained... really enjoyed, will definitely go next year 😊”

“My family and I enjoyed the strawberry picking very much. It’s not crowded at all and we only paid $23 for a big basket of strawberries. Also, they have a new address for fruit picking. Will come back again for cherry picking this July.”

“Tracey and Donna are just a couple of awesome people, along with the rest, who are so helpful. Fruit, veggies, beautiful flowers and the best pies ever with a wack of other bakery. One of our favorite places to go! 💞👍”

“my wife took me here for Father's day & we enjoyed the strawberry picking experience. The strawberries were delicious & so was the apple crumble pie!!!”

“Very welcoming local farm market/stand with great customer service. A good place to stop.”

“Good service. Prices a bit high. Last two times I have gone the produce has not been well stocked. The fruit I got although looked great was not very sweet which was a bit disappointing”
