“Hobbit Hill Farm is a great local, organic farm to get blueberries from. The days and hours they are open during the growing season vary depending on weather so it is important to follow them on social media so you know exactly when they will be open. My young son loves coming here each year, it's becoming a family tradition, and eating the berries right off of the bush. Since they don't use any sort of pesticides I know that he is fine eating as many as he wants. The owners have been there every time we have went and are more than willing to talk about the farm and are very friendly. They also offer some local art, t-shirts, and mint lemonade as well.”

“One of my favorite local spots. I wait all year long for June to come so that I can go blueberry picking with my family. This place is very special to me. I spent the first part of my labor with my daughter picking blueberries in the field. It was pure whimsy and bliss. Owners are so friendly. The best blueberry lemonade, and blueberry buckle you ever have, and the most delicious plump organic blueberries you can ever find. I could never recommend this place enough”

“We come here every year to get blueberries. It has gotten quite popular but we still get what we need going the first few days of the season. The area is groomed nice and the owners are helpful and know their stuff. My family always has a good time here. The berries are also awesome for baking or just for eating! They have a few different variants of blueberries but we like the ones that are more disk shaped.”

“Cute family run blueberry farm close to the river with organic berries. We picked about 6lbs before we even realized it! They provide everything you need. Also try the lemonade it's delicious! Can't wait to come back and see the new plants grow in.”

“We came here for the first time earlier this year. We had never been blueberry picking but we picked plenty. The owners are so nice! Note that if you keep walking over the hill that’s where the larger, more mature blueberry plants are.”

“This review is just for for folks looking for high quality blueberries. First the folks who run it are plenty nice so it's a nice family experience. But if you looking for really high quality blueberries I am afraid this place wont meet your approval. First they opened for picking too early, less than 5% of berries were vine ripe, there were absolutely no ripe clumps, berries were quite small, and the blue berry plants were straggly not bushy. It took me 25 minutes to pick 10 ounces of suitable berries. I was also surprised the taste was bland. When I lived in NC I picked at several farms, and had great experiences and great berries so I am drawing on comparison here. Another concern was that about half the plants were about 3 feet or less. So if you want to take the kids for a berry picking experience it's fine. If you are going just to get some really good berries, then just be prepared. Don't want to hurt these folks feelings but at $8 a lb it's just not worth it, to me. Lots of bugs on the plants also but I didn't see any insect damage.”
