“After a long drive from Pittsburgh to Fuquay Varina our 5 year old daughter needed to use the potty really bad. We saw the sign for Howard farm and we quickly pulled in and thought to ourselves "Hopefully they have a public bathroom". Unfortunately they did not however the owners were such lovely people and took pity on our girls age 5 and 7 and allowed us to use their bathroom. While there the peaches were absolutely beautiful and unfortunately we did not have any way to pay for them. I just wanted to let everyone know about the kindness and friendliness of the owners and how beautiful their peaches looked. We fully intent on going there to get ice cream and bringing a small gift of our gratitude for their hospitality!!!!!!”

“Went for some ice cream with my kids. It was delicious and there were several seating options under a covered area which was nice. (you do need to pay cash for the ice cream). Was also a few toys for the kids to place with when they were done eating. I did not get to check it out during my visit, but there was a building with fruit, vegetables, ice etc for sale as well.”

“I stopped by here, not during season, and met the lady who owns the farm with her husband. She was so nice and talked to me for a bit about what they do and growing peaches. They had a nice little shop with lots of things, I am assuming for sale. Just a wonderful couple and I can’t wait to go back and get some fresh peaches.”

“Stopped and bought peaches a couple of weeks ago. They were absolutely delicious! Went back today for more, but no peaches today. You might want to do as we will next time and call first to see if peaches are available. And be aware...they only take cash or personal checks.”

“The produce is amazing--especially the fruit. Can't get it any fresher unless you grow it yourself! Always fun to look through the resale barn. And DO have the ice cream!”

“First time. Apparently I missed the fresh peaches, but was able to get peach ice cream and peach preserves! P.S. They are a cash only business, but have an ATM that will charge a fee.”

“It was my first time visiting so I didn't know what to expect. I expected it to be more like a typical farmers market, so I was disappointed in their very limited selection. I understand that it's early in the season, but there were very few varieties of fruit and vegetables available.”
