Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great place. Look for the signs on US 64 between Pittsboro and Siler City at Buckner Clark Road. I'm looking forward to getting in on the earlier varieties next year but this year only got the Red Fury peaches which come in late July to mid-August. They were yummy firm yellow freestone peaches that were mildly sweet and lasted about a week without refrigeration and didn't turn brown when cut up. If you are lucky, the owner will tell you all about what it takes to grow good peaches. I thought the price was a good value. And you can see what you get when you pick them. All gone for 2021 though. Look for the signs next year.”

“Great place and wonderful couple. They have a variety of peaches available 7 days a week, sun up to sun down from mid-June through mid-August. Well kept orchard, very accessible. Make sure to take cash or a check as those are their two forms of payment they accept. Both individuals are very knowledgeable and welcoming. We will return next year for another bushel!”

“This was a great experience! We had so much fun picking peaches but make sure you bring cash or a check! If you happen to forget like we did there are banks about 10 minutes away.”

“Review is strictly based on communication. We were really excited about coming to pick peaches with our daughters today. We drove all the way out (30 minutes) only to see a sign saying "temporarily picked out". There is no phone number, no website, no way to contact to ask when peaches would be available to pick, otherwise I would have called prior to driving out. Disappointing.”
