Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Today on the 4th of July other berry picking farms were closed so we drove the extra 10 minutes to Huber Farms. What a great decision! Prices were reasonable, we had a long row of blueberry bushes all to our selves. The farmer was warm, welcoming, and had so much he was willing to share with our kids about farming and berries. We will absolutely be returning to Huber Farms on our next visit to the area.”

“We came back here for red raspberries and were not disappointed. They were more expensive than blueberries at $45 for a big bucket but our family only picked one bucket worth in about an hour. We’ll be back here again”

“Just picked a bunch of blueberries! About a bucket or two per person over about two hours. Really simple and a great experience - it doesn't get much more fresh than this.”

“I am glad that I found this farm, beautiful, delicious blueberries. Definitely will be back. They also have raspberries now.”

“Very friendly owners. Rows and rows of raspberries to pick from and blueberries. Prices are reasonable. The picking area is quiet and back from the highway, which is nice. Will be back next year!”

“Delicious blueberries, decent prices, and a short walk to pick”

“Picking your own blueberries and raspberries is always a fun little yummy adventure...but be careful if you go a little late in the season. We couldn't get service even though the cabin was open.”

“Unfortunately, I found this place to be not kid-friendly. While the husband was great, the wife was overly critical in scolding my grandkids for picking a couple of asparagus stalks out of curiosity. As someone who has been a faithful customer, I felt that the scolding was unjustified. Had I known it would cause such distress, I would have gladly paid for the asparagus. We won’t be returning. Children are learning and growing trying new things and don’t need a lady making them feel as if we all did something wrong. It was 2 stalks of asparagus. The No No wasn’t called for and the crappy comments said after. I apologize. The rude didn’t need to be.”
