“Best apple orchard!! Hy's is a beautiful and classic experience perfect for the whole family. Take the tractor ride out to the beautiful orchards, they simply ask that you pick at least $20 worth of apples (no exorbitant admission fees. So many varieties of apples, our favorites are Mutsu, Fuji and Black Empire. Kids can climb on the giant hay bales, explore the orchards, choose a pumpkin and finish with cider, donuts and the best carmel apples ever!! Check their website for which apples they are harvesting each week. Perfect Michigan fall activity. Enjoy!”

“Had a great time at Hy's Cider Mill. Facilities were clean, products were reasonably priced and alot of space to pick apples. Multiple types of apples to pick with signs in front of the rows. Best apples are in the middle of the rows, higher up. Minimum of $22 for a bag, hand picked. For $22 its about 35 to 45 apples. Fruit on the trees were bountiful and had minimal bug markings on them. Apple cider and cinnamon donuts were delicious. Definitely coming back next year. Good place for an afternoon with the family or a casual date.”

“Love the cozy, relaxed feel & being able to see the machinery work to crush up the apples into cider. Delicious cider & donuts! So nice they had a BBQ food truck on the grounds, too, which was delicious as well! This was our 2nd year out here & I think we're going to make this place a yearly tradition! Great, friendly, helpful staff make it even better!”

“Love Hy's. Nice to see old friends & eat do-nuts. Beautiful setting. Looking forward to picking my favorite apple variety! Oct 2023, I made sure that I would be back in Almont before my fave apple season ended. I missed MI fall this year, but caught the end at Hy's. Go get some donuts & cider!”

“Hy's Cider Mill is well worth the trip out. The cider and donuts are the best around. They also serve many other items. Hot cider with a cinnamon stick is great on a cold fall day. Never had any bad service here they are all great and friendly. Recommended!!”
