Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The fee you pay for the ticket is WELL WORTH IT!!!!!! Me and my sisters brought all of our children out, thinking that we were coming to just a Pumpkin Patch, but we were surprised by all of the excursions that were out there! From the corn maze, to the train ride, to the tractor little bumper cars, everything was just amazing! The only concern I had was the amount of yellow jackets that were flying around, it became a little bit overwhelming with fighting them and trying to enjoy yourselves! However, everything else 10 out of 10 from the staff tractor ride from the parking lot to the actual food to the activities. Everything was amazing! We will definitely be back and it looks like they have something for Christmas that we will be bringing our children back to as well.”

“This is a nice place for the kids. Very unique things to do. Photo opportunities and good snacks. Plenty of entertainment for them it’s small enough to not be overwhelming but still a great size so it’s in a category on its own! Only major concern is the bees!!! Oh my goodness they were everywhere to a point that I genuinely think it’s a safety hazard that needs to be addressed. If you are allergic to bees you absolutely cannot go here. Parking is cash only. We bought tickets online saved money and time to enter”

“We had a great time!! All staff were smiling and so sweet to the children, grounds were very clean, and rides were run well. Minimal if any wait for anything. My only warning would be for those with bee allergies, as there are a ton around the food areas, which can be expected. Food service may need a little bit of attention as chicken tenders were not fully cooked and there were missing items. Otherwise, absolutely great experience and highly recommend!! Would love to come back!”

“Family friendly fun thing to do! Honestly there's so much to do you can't achieve everything in one day. Literally fun for all ages. The corn maze had a whodunnit optional game. I personally think the tickets are worth the price! I can not say that for the food, it's good just overpriced and small portions. First year doing the Fall experience, we have don't the Christmas experience for a couple years now! Love it!”

“Such a fun day at Kersey Valley Maize Adventure Pumpkin Patch! There’s so much room to roam and tons of activities to keep the little ones busy — rock climbing, zip-lining, the mega slide, train ride, trampoline fun and more. The staff was so kind and helpful, and my 5-year-old had the biggest smile all day long. Definitely a must for family fun this fall!”

“I took my niece and nephew (ages 5 and 6) for a day of fun and we had just that. There was so much today we never even made it to the corn maize. They really enjoyed everything and didn’t want to leave. It’s definitely worth the price for all that’s available. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to bring them for the Christmas event.”

“We had such a good time frist going. Will be going back next year. They had a lot to do for kids an adults”

“My children had a great time and there were a more activities than we expected!”
