Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Pumpkins on side road to help drivers know the farm nearby. We found $6-7 pumpkins that were perfect middle of October 2025. The $5 per person maze was super fun. You can use cash, venmo, and cards to pay We were young adults timed in the maze. We took a picture each on our phone for backup. We walked alongside the orange and black flagged pathway to the patch. We got a pumpkin each from the medium to large pumpkin patch. The smaller pumpkins in different color and appearance were in a patch nearby. We rode the free hayride back that drove by every 5 minutes at both the patch/maze enterance and farm enterance. We came back to look at the maze once then continued without the map. We took turns whenever we met a dead end. It took us 20 minutes. once we did the first half then we followed the slanted pathway knowing its a giraffe.”

“We've been going here since I was a kid and we have been taking our kids for the past 18 years. We love getting an annual picture of them on the giant pumpkin display. We have the great memories of the kids wondering through the pumpkin patch to choose which ones they want. They have good prices and now they have a corn maze to walk through. We have also been on several field trips with the boys learning all about pumpkins at pumpkin school. They've taken wagon rides and have learned so much while having fun!”

“We took our child for a pre-school field trip. The presenter was informative and very engaging. She keep 30+ 4 year olds interested for about 20 minutes while she taught about the life cycle and different kinds of pumpkins. Then we took a hayride out to a patch with all preschool sized pumpkins that students could pick out and take home.”

“I went here on a field trip when I was a kid at St. John's New Haven✨️. We went with our class. It was such a cute/fun place with the Pumpkins 🎃 and the tractor 🚜. Good memories❤️ & experience. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“All workers are very friendly!! Took my class there for a field trip and they loved pumpkin school and getting to go into a field to pick a pumpkin. They had 4 different colors to choose from”

“We just moved down the road in Harlan, but we have been getting our pumpkins, squash, mums and other fall decor here for years! This year I see a corn maze and pick your own pumpkins added!”

“Always the best selection of pumpkins every fall. My son started working here and loves it every day. Very nice people! The mums are also gorgeous!”

“Pumpkins, Gourds, Mums and more! My kids love the Pumpkin school and getting to pick out their own Pumpkins!”
