What visitors say

“If you’re anywhere near Schmucker's Farm Market and don’t stop in, you’re seriously missing out. This place is a hidden Indiana gem. The selection of vegetables, fruits, flowers, and fresh goods is absolutely massive, and everything is organized so well it almost feels like a country grocery paradise. The atmosphere is friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the second you walk in. You can tell people actually care about quality here, and every part of the market feels authentic. But the real legend outside is Lester Schmucker on the grill. The smell alone will stop you in your tracks. Fresh grilled chicken, coleslaw, beans, potato salad, drinks, and all the sides, served up with huge portions and old-school hospitality. Outside of your own backyard cookout, this is hands down some of the best chicken around, and honestly unmatched in flavor. Juicy, smoky, perfectly seasoned, and priced unbelievably fair for the amount and quality of food you get. The whole experience feels like the perfect blend of hardworking Amish tradition and small-town Indiana charm. In fact, somebody, like myself, needs to make an “Amish vs. City Slicker Grill Challenge” happen right there someday. It would be one unforgettable gathering of two worlds coming together over food, laughter, and competition. Regardless, make sure you stop by and check it out. You’ll probably leave with a full stomach, fresh flowers, plants, produce and a smile on your face.”

“The best and kindest family. Mrs. Schmucker the eldest of them is so knowledgeable about all of the plants she can tell you exactly how to care for any of them. They have the tastiest sweet corn that they grow and so many other great veggies and fruits, cheese, cinnamon rolls, dry goods, jams local honey and other amazing treats. I have been shopping here literally my entire life with my parents as a child until now. This generational farm is truly a gem!”

“I'm from Louisiana, so I've never been to Amish country before. This little farmers market is really neat. All the produce is beautiful and super fresh. They had the biggest zucchini I've ever seen! Seriously I freaked out over how big these were. Lots of really cool other stuff too. I will definitely be back.”

“Great produce for very cheap, friendly workers, and quality fruits/veggies! Always a reliable option for healthier produce and supporting local farmers. Highly recommend coming here if you need any fruits veggies or even homemade treats. 10/10!”

“A huge variety of goods from veg and fruit and dairy, to pre packaged homemade cookie and soup mixes. We loved everything we purchased, its alot cheaper than going to a regular grocery store. We will continue to comeback regularly!”

“The day before Mother's Day is crazy, but they have the most beautiful basket! They have a great variety of healthy flowers. Then you have the bonus of a grocery store of fun item to add to your dinner.”

“A wonderful selection of beautiful flowers, and vegetables! Would definitely recommend going Friday, or Saturday morning before "Mother's day " for best selection!”

“All the fresh vegetables are great. The ladies will help if you need to find anything. Prices are fair. I will go again.”
