What visitors say

“Wow! I just can’t say enough about Krista, Susie and Buddy, the owners and an employee of La Grange. We had a spring baby shower in the barn and they were just so helpful as we were setting up the night before, during the shower and during breakdown afterwards. The barn is just beautiful, in excellent condition and decorated really well. When we arrived to set up, tables and tablecloths were already in place. They let us use some table runners that they had, added tables and tablecloths when we needed and were just generally glad to help with anything. The weather cooperated so there were goats to pet and yard games for the kids. And if that wasn’t enough, the owners offered a tour of their historical home AND they have a farmers market stand with fresh eggs, seasonal produce, goats milk soap, wreaths and more. I mean honestly, you wont be disappointed if you rent this space for any event you can imagine!”

“Truly an amazing venue for any kind of event. We had a wonderful weekend hosting a celebration of life with the La Grange team and they were truly perfect. The garden and various parts of the space let people have the experience they needed - quiet small group chats, goat time, walks in the garden, and an amazing dinner and dance in the barn. Christa had great connections for food, flowers, and butterflies (!!) for a magical butterfly release and had staff present to support us and make us feel safe and at home. And, for the farm stand side, amazingly priced eggs (chicken, duck AND quail!) and veggies.”

“I finally made it out here after weeks of wanting to check it out and I am so glad that we did! It was a neat little stand with fresh produce and we picked up a beautiful bouquet of flowers to take home. I asked if my son could just take a peek at the goats and they were so welcoming and even let me hold a couple of them! We all had a wonderful time that they are still talking about and we can't wait to go back!”

“After much seeking I found the terminology of "sanctuary" and "rescue" to be subjective with many qualifications and stipulations. That is until I found La Grange Family Farm. I am beyond grateful for the selfless attitude they fostered toward some abused animals that needed to be rescued. Let this be a small token of appreciation.”

“Great experience, the owner Christa has created a charming farm with friendly goats, rescued highland cows and a lovely venue for local businesses to come together. Def recommend a visit especially if you have a little one”

“Stopped by briefly to pick up some DELICIOUS shortbread and streusal for our long drive home. Had a great time looking at the goats, they are so cute! One came over to scream hello at us and it was lovely.”

“Super cute farm. They offer activities such as a wedding venue, weekend activities and more. The owner is really nice and works hard to collaborate with local businesses.”

“Cute little farmstand! One of the goats ran right over to ask screaming. So fun!! The Irish shortbread and Banana bread were to die for.”
