Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had the BEST fun wandering through to pick out all our pumpkins for both decorating and eating. We always love pumpkin soup and baked pumpkin as well as carving. It was a gorgeous day and the lady was sweet. She loved that we were so excited about her farm. We loved that we could afford the prices, they were unbeatable. Lovely scenery all around too. Took so many wonderful photos. Gorgeous views quintessential northeast coast countryside.”

“This is the place for pumpkins!! $2 per pumpkin no matter the size, you pick, drive your car through the field. Also they have trailers of “cute” pumpkins as my wife puts it at the entrance for even more decoration options. We’ve been going for many years and we will continue to do so! 🎃 payment options include cash (bring exact change) or Venmo.”
