Sugar Shack Blueberry Farm

“We drove for blueberry u-pick from Rochester, which is about an hour drive but the ride there is so beautiful, glimpses of Canandaigua lake, rolling green fields, charming countryside. The farm is well kept, it has multiple blueberry fields delineated by rows of trees. This year we picked in the front field by the house but in past years we took a ride to the back fields and that was fun too, beautiful farm. The blueberries are delicious and some are the size of cherries. Different than other farms where you can roam through the fields, here the owners do tell you which bushes to pick and want you to pick all berries. The price can't be beat, $1.99/lb in July 2022.”

“Great blueberry picking!! Plentiful harvest, easy to get to.. they take you to the berry bushes by golf cart and show you exactly where to pick. They have people in the field to help you with whatever you need. Friendly and efficient handling of picked berries and nice little store with their own honey, maple syrup, eggs, etc. Highly recommended for a great picking experience and tasty berries!!”

“This place got some amazing fruit. The fields are well kept.the grass strip between the blueberrie rows nicely mowed. You get a tractor wagon ride out to the field and back no need to walk far. You can also order fruit , don't need to you pick. Will be back”

“Great family activity! Friendly staff, and tons of blueberries on the bushes! Pick using buckets with a hole cut in the top corner. Sit on the bucket and chuck in the berries. Super easy and fun. I try and make it down every year.”

“Sugar Shack has a large variety of blueberries so the picking season is quite long. The prices are reasonable and everyone is very friendly. Sometimes they have a wagon or ATV to take people to the fields.”
