Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Was coming up from Long Island to spend the weekend with grandkids, ages 4,11 and 11. Weather report predicted an absolute gift for the last Saturday in October, so wanted to plan an outdoor day. Found this place on the internet, and although it was a 50 minute drive from my daughters house, the website convinced me that it would be worth the trip. Turned out to be about the best decision I have made in months! What a fabulous place, for kids of all ages. So much to do, in a comfortably compact outside venue. The admission price ($13.95) is so reasonable, and includes just about everything! The staff were ALL inviting, warm and friendly. The corn maze is HUGE, and challenging. The apple cider donuts(freshly made) taste even better than they smell! Just a few pics from our PERFECT day. A day at Pick’n Patch is going to be an annual family tradition. Looking forward to the apples next fall!”

“We have a family tradition of going here. The apples are plentiful and the variety is outstanding. We are so grateful for everyone that has a hand in this establishment. Our last trip this year was a little rough because the boys were tired as we got there. When we told the 5 year old that it was time to leave, he became upset. While we were wrangling everyone to get shoes on, we looked over and a stranger was crouched down, putting the shoes on for the 5 year old. Normally I'd be so thankful for community coming together to help but this was different. This was a complete invasion of our space and safety. She was lit, I looked ar her husband and he just shrugged and held her drink. We had to forcefully tell her that we were fine, several times before she went on her way.”

“Love the Pick’n Patch, we have gone every year for the past 16 years. They have grown a ton over the years. This year I saw they added many more photo op areas along with a shaded adult area placed with in view of the majority of the activities so you can enjoy a relaxing environment while also watching you little ones. You can buy pumpkins, Mums, cider donuts, fall trinkets in their store. And take my favorite photo in front of “How tall this Fall” sign without paying the entry fee. The entry fee is a little pricey but if you order you tickets ahead online you will get a 20% discount that makes it much more reasonable.”

“Spent a few hours there and still didn't do everything they have to offer. So many different activities for the whole family, as well as new and fun food and drink options for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend it; we even got season passes. We are looking forward to going back again for some more fall family fun!”

“Absolutely love it here! The maze was muddy, but my kids had an absolute blast. The food is reasonably priced, the donuts always take amazing, and there's so much to do for the kids here. They also have convient selfie stands set up so the whole family can be in a picture!”

“A fun break from wine tasting. Well worth the $15 for admission. Did the corn maze, played games, fired some apples, and got a snack. Two adults had a fun couple hours. I'm sure kids would love it even more. :)”
