Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Maple Lane Farms is a great place to take your kids. The corn maze is fun for both kids and adults. They have hay rides to their pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins, the corn maze, a small corn maze for kids, a couple inflatable bounce houses and slides for kids, and a market where you can buy t-shirts and other goods. They also have a strawberry patch where you can pick your own strawberries and have an annual strawberry jam festival. The best time to go is around Halloween because the maze becomes "haunted" and they have people dress up in scary costumes and jump out of the corn with chainsaws to scare you. They also have had a Luke Bryan concert every year for the past 3 years. Overall it's still a great place to visit and have fun with the kids. It's been around for almost 20 years I think and is almost an institution in Blount county. I hope it's around for another 20 years. It's a beautiful farm that relies heavily on the support of the community and extra funding from selling pumpkins, strawberries, and tickets to the maze. Take the family for a fun day in the corn!”

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Lots of fun for all ages, even toddlers. They have face painting, food vendors(deep fried Oreos and funnel cakes😍) a Photo Booth, bouncy slide, and more. I went this last weekend and it was my first time in the haunted barn/woods. It was fun not too scary and didn’t take very long to get through, maybe 20 minutes. The haunted maze was also fun but takes a while longer to get through, maybe an hour and a half. Scariest thing for me was the people with chainsaws at both attractions. Definitely wear reliable shoes, watch your step, and expect to get dirty and be walking a while. It’s also pretty dark at night. They don’t like you to use flashlights in the attractions, but they offer glow sticks. They can get busy with long lines for the attractions but they’re good about moving people along. Be mindful there are strobing lights in parts of both attractions. If you’re a bit of a weenie like me and can’t do super scary stuff, this is the place to be.”

“Took the family to Maple Lane Farms for the pumpkin patch today. It's a really nice farm with plenty of free parking. There's lots of photo opportunities and things to see and do. We took a hay ride that takes you to the back of the farm. It stops and you can pick your own pumpkin. The girls loved it and it was really fun. My oldest daughter went in the jumping jack and slide. There's a coffee truck, snack shop, photo booth, face painting, ice cream, funnel cakes, shaved ice and a Halloween decorations shop. One thing I noticed is how reasonable all the prices were. They didn't gouge you and you can spend time with your family and not break the bank. Family time is important and this place provides that opportunity. We had a great time and I highly recommend a visit with your family. We'll definitely go back next year.”

“This is my favorite farm to visit with the children! The haunted maze is fun and just scary enough. A wonderful place to spend the day picking pumpkins, having a hay ride and having fun with your family! The prices did go up last year for the maze. I want to say we spent at least $15-18 dollars a person for the maze alone. So be sure and bring enough money if your wanting to do other activities. They also had slushies to purchase that the children enjoyed after the maze.”

“Great pumpkin patch, hayride and corn maze. The prices are decent and is a fun experience for the whole family. We loved most the corn maze since there are guideposts that you allow you to answer questions as you go through the maze. A good experience and friendly staff to help make your adventure even more fun.”

“Great place! Super spooky! The Lady Butcher was the scariest one there, very immersive. I really felt like prime lamb chops.”

“The grandkids had fun here. They played in the bounce house and ran around the grounds. We took them through the children's corn maze which only took a few minutes, although there was a playhouse in the center which they enjoyed. I'm not sure it was actually worth the cost of admission but it has become somewhat traditional for our family.”

“Took my 2 yo grandson along with nieces and nephew for pumpkins, hayrides and face painting on 10/4. I feel the pricing was on point as you only pay for what you want to participate in. Everything was set up really nice. Great face painters, photo ops, bounce houses, covered tables, etc. However, the fact that the older man that drove the tractor on our hayride was smoking marijuana all the way to the pumpkin patch, was extremely disappointing. I thought this was a family friendly atmosphere.”
