“Marked Tree Wine Bar in Asheville is one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem right in the middle of downtown. The tasting room showcases wines from their North Carolina vineyard, and what really stands out is that many of their pours are award-winning, reflecting the care and craftsmanship that goes into every vintage. The seasonal tasting experience is absolutely worth the visit. It rotates through a curated selection of wines that highlight what’s drinking best at the moment, so no two visits feel exactly the same. You get a guided experience that helps you understand the character of each wine, from crisp whites to bold, structured reds, all made to reflect the unique mountain terroir. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, making it perfect for a casual afternoon or a date night. Between the knowledgeable staff and consistently high-quality pours, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer and maybe even order another glass.”

“We love Marked Tree Wines. We have been to the vineyard in Flat Rock many times and now we make it a point to stop at The Tasting Room in Asheville whenever we are in the area. The urban setting in the south slope location is near to great breweries and restaurants. It's a three minute walk from The French Broad Chocolate Lounge so if you are looking for great dark chocolate to pair with your red wine you don't have to go far. The Ghost House Red is one of our favorite red blends; it pairs well with cheese and chocolate. Yum! 🍷We can't wait for warmer weather when sitting outside will provide a front row seat to enjoy all the activities going on in this vibrant location in the city. Cheers🥂 we're so glad you're here!”

“Really loved several of the wines (as longtime NC resident not normally impressed by NC wine) to the point I’d buy a bottle and will go back on this trip. Worth doing one of their tastings- I did a seasonal tasting and a glass. I highly recommend this spot. Curt is fantastic, friendly and represents the wine well. It’s tucked away and was a nice reprieve from an unseasonably hot day in Aville.”

“Five stars. This is the cutest wine bar and tasting room in Asheville. Curtis has created such a welcoming, thoughtful spot, and you can tell there is real care behind the experience. The Cab Franc was delicious, and the whole place has the kind of charm that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Absolutely worth a visit.”
