“Urban Orchard is a great downtown spot for a drink, casual conversation, and Thursday Latin night dance events. The place is always clean, Joe (bartender) is incredibly welcoming and answers every question imaginable about the menu, and the selection of drinks and snacks offer something for everyone. If you’re in town on a Thursday and like Latin dance, stop by for a lesson around 8, or come during holiday events for fun bar crawl activities like Santa Con, Mardi Gras and St Patrick’s Day. As a fun aside — the street facing window is a great spot for people watching :)”

“I love their Thursday Latin Nights !! DJ Zazu plays the best Bachata with a splash of salsa, merengue and cumbia. Awesome place with great atmosphere and drinks ( they have a great selection of ciders and also other drinks) Joe the bartender will make feel at home. There is a class from around 8.30pm to 9.30pm and then a social until Midnight. Definitely a place not to be missed in Asheville. No partners needed just good vibes !”

“Great selection of ciders, which I tasted several in a flight recommended by the bartender (who was awesome!). The space is open and covered in art and games for everyone to enjoy. A dj was setting up in the corner as we were leaving, so I can only assume this place gets busier, we just couldn't stay. We ended up walking away with some ciders to-go. I definitely recommend!”

“really nice in-between stop from brewery hopping! Refreshing and delicious cider. The atmosphere was nice, only a few other people inside at time time we had arrived. The shuffle board was just recently donated to them and had very little sand which made it basically unplayable sadly. Bought a cider to go which came in a really awesome glass bottle which will double as a great souvenir. Not a great selection of swag and logo is lacking compared to others in the area. Lots of seating area inside and out. Also tried the root beer which was pretty darn tasty.”

“Being a big fan of hard cider, it was fun to stumble upon Urban Orchard Cider while visiting Asheville from Washington, D.C. Popping in on a December Sunday, we ordered flights of all their semi-sweet ciders all locally made. Their menu includes more unique ciders with notes of kiwi, lime, and strawberry. My eight-year-old daughter loved their shuffleboard and pool table. There are plenty of tables with outlets nearby to charge up.”
