A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Hampshire.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Google Maps takes you to the Emery residence, not the farm. It's nearby on Piscataqua Road 🛣️. Five ⭐ s because it was more than I expected! Inside was impressive with the cafe/sandwich counter and the selection available for purchase. Coffee ☕, smoothies, 🥯 bagels, apple 🍎 cider donuts, hot chocolate or cider, and the interesting choice of 🥪 sandwiches. I had apple cider pumpkin spice smoothie 🥤 with whipped cream and caramel. I was enjoying my experience with it. My friend, she isn't into smoothies, but after trying the smoothie I ordered, she liked it! My son gave it a try, liked it, asked for another sip and took a big swig! The inside sells local products and groceries. They also have a refrigerated section as well. Outside, there are the pumpkins, gourds, flowers and gardening supplies. They have picnic tables, areas for the kids to play and a stable with goats 🐐 and 🐔 chickens. The corn 🌽 maze was interesting for my friend and I. My son, who is becoming a beach ⛱️ bum, had enough when we got stuck! There is a house in the center of the maze. Plenty of parking 🅿️. There is an EV charger available. I'm coming back 🔙! I went for breakfast. I had the Kolly Bagel 🥯 sandwich, pesto scrambled egg with tomato 🍅 and Vermont cheddar 🧀. Very good 👍. I had a pumpkin spice coffee ☕ with an apple cider doughnut. Doughnut was very good. The coffee lacked the flavor I ordered and it didn't taste good. I still recommend a visit!”

“Have been stopping by this charming farm and market for a while. I am taking time to write a review. I have found the cookies and muffins to be totally awesome. The choices of egg sandwiches will allow most groups to all have a sandwich that meets thier individual taste. The bagels are good not great. I don't usually do smoothies but have had a few on occasion. They are very tasty and the choices are broad in scope so most poeple will find a delicious one they will enjoy. A side from the food they offer picking fruit so you can enjoy more then a quick stop. So if your driving rt4, do stop in.”

“Really cute farm to visit. Lovely seasonal coffee options, good looking sandwiches with quality bread and ingredients, fresh smoothies. I had the blueberry pie smoothie and it was delicious, highly recommend it. The outdoor sitting area is peaceful and nice for big groups. We were a little disappointed with the produce selection, we expected there to be more but overall we really liked coming here!”

“It’s quaint, and you will like the local products. En route from Vermont to Maine it is a healthy alternative to the fast food traps that keeps us rolling on without a stop. Lunch options are good and it is a nice fresh air opportunity to stretch. We bought a frozen farm made chicken pot pie for home. We cooked it up i eagerly broke through the top crust to sample the concoction only to find there was only a top crust. No sides, no dough bottom. Just a dough crust on top. I was very disappointed. Where i grew up chicken pot pies were made in a pie crust envelope. That said the filling was amazingly good. I suppose less dough is healthier for you. I needed a warning… Enjoy the stop.”

“Went to Emery Farms for the first time today. There was just rudeness from the staff behind the counter. They were not helpful at all if you had any questions when ordering a particular food item. You just get a deer in headlights look. Prices are high and you don’t know how fresh the baked goods are. There are no labels or dates when the food was made. I’m sorry for the negative review, disappointed after my first time here.”
