Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“I absolutely LOVED this pumpkin patch! We had the best time. I'm in a wheelchair and I tend to stress about getting around. Getting in was a little rough but once I was in it wasn't too bad. I only needed help in a few spots. I thought everything was fair on pricing for food, drinks, and pumpkins. The mums were BEAUTIFUL! Will absolutely go back here. ONLY thing I would recommend is making an area closer to the entrance for those of us that are in wheelchairs and alittle more handicap friendly restroom.”

“My large family had a wonderful time here today. Was able to talk to the owner who is a wonderful man clearly interested in preserving farm heritage and this family operation. The slides, mazes, and play areas arw wonderfully done! There is so much to do and it is very fairly priced. You can tell there is a lot of effort and expense to provide these kinds of places and they deserve our support. We made wonderful memories and I would highly recommend to anyone!”

“The kids love to visit McWilliams Pumpkin Patch, these were taken last fall, they always have farm animals for the kids to pet, the huge slide, corn “sand” box and other fun things to do. The narrated train ride is fun for the kids. They always get to pick a pumpkin too. Looking forward to fall again!”

“A really fun place to take the family to buy pumpkins to carve and fall decorations with fun activities for the kids while you are there”

“I really don't want to be the person to say it. Today we went to the pumpkin patch with a school. It was my first time here, the last time I went to a pumpkin patch it was in a different state and I would say the other state was by far way better. I'm not trying to knock anything down. We had a decent time during the hour that we were there. But I will say I was not impressed. I felt bad for the animals, some of them looked a little skinny. It was very hot and dry, they had no water or food while we were there. the school kids did get to take a small free pumpkin which was very generous. We took an extra pumpkin which was only $1. I think this place needs a little help!!”
