What you can pick
In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Wisconsin, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This is one of those places I've passed driving around the area and always wanted to stop in. I made it a point today to do just that. The selection is good with a surprising variety of tomatoes, potatoes, peppers etc. and all at reasonable prices. The entrance is right off 50 and there's plenty of parking. There's also NO entrance or parking fees. Heck you can just walk around and sightsee and it won't cost you a dime. But you'll regret not picking up some fresh produce! I picked up baskets of tomatoes, sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes plus a head of cauliflower and a dozen farm-fresh eggs. Total was $20 - my only problem now is prepping and storing all this fresh food! Clean establishment, plenty of signage, prices are all easy to see and the staff is friendly. No credit cards accepted.”

“Over the top beautiful farm. Worth a drive in the country to see this farm and purchase delicious, fresh produce. This is the largest selection of every kind of pumpkin you could imagine to ever see.”

“Wanted to love it more but I’ve been here a few times and at least one staff member is rude every time even when they aren’t busy! No one greets you and they seem to think they can talk rudely or however they please to customers who are taking the time out of their day to support their small business, especially when most people have to go out of their way to support them instead of a large supermarket. We went today and I think it was the final straw. I was looking at tomatoes in the basket to make sure none were bruised or mushy and one of the staff walked up and told us that the tomatoes baskets are as is and we can’t change them (very snappy and rude tone). Fair enough, I said okay, I’ll just look for a basket that doesn’t have bad ones, so I continue to pick them up to see and she got an attitude and said that she’s going to have to redo them all? I wasn’t swapping tomatoes between baskets, I was simply looking at each tomato in the basket, so there’s nothing to redo. Very rude for no reason. Especially to a customer who’s trying to support your local business. I’m not sure if she just expected me to take the first basket I saw even if half the tomatoes were bruised and squishy? They have a decent selection but seems like a lot of what’s available isn’t even from their farm, which I’d prefer to get when trying to buy local produce. They also do not take card, wish it would say this more prominently on their website or social media.”

“I wanted to love this farm stand. Two out of the three melons I bought were rotten. I threw away an entire watermelon because it was rotting from the inside. Six out of six of the peaches I purchased were mealy. Not very good odds”
