Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Didn’t want to add too much photos because you have to come to see its beauty in person. The apples trees were gorgeous. We tried the apple cider donuts, the apple cider, the coffee, the wine, the cheese spread and of course the apples and it was delicious. we arrived at 10:30am and it was the perfect time to arrive. they have plenty of places to sit to eat your donuts and apples. there are two handicap parking spaces in front of the market store. i do have to say if there is any room in your budget in the future, i would recommend a little bench or a chair along your trail for your handicap visitors to power up and rest during the walk or maybe to even admire the view of the row of apple trees. i will definitely be coming back to restock on apples, cider, and apple butter.”

“Got to visit the amazing Brightonwoods Orchard in Wisconsin earlier this week and the variety of apples was astonishing that you can only see here or in neighboring states. Some of my favorites are pictured below, but the bronze delicious won my vote as the best and such a unique color too. Definitely a nice trip to check out whenever in Wisconsin. Very friendly people working the store and super polite with my questions. Plenty od parking in the area.”

“Last year my husband and I stumbled across this place. Their cider is phenomenal, their spirits are original and the apple cider donuts are to die for. I appreciate the variety they have with the apples. The customer service is fantastic. The cold press cider is my favorite cider I have ever had!!”

“Wonderful small orchard with delicious cider donuts and some cider. We did a tasting of hard cider, apple win and some brandy too. Love it. No kids activities so it wasn't crazy crowded. Super fun, highly recommend.”

“Jaw-dropping selection of apples for sale! Such a lovely spot to walk through the orchard and listen to the birds. Top that off with pumpkins, weekend donuts, and hard cider tasting. Delightful place.”

“We visited in September this year and just love this place. There are sooo many of these little orchards in the Midwest and what sets them apart is not only inventory but customer service. This place has both and is impeccably well cared for. We will go put of our way to return. (We live in Chicago)”
