“Great Asian pears. U-pick open 9AM to 3PM Saturdays & Sundays during the pear season. They have many varieties that ripen from about Sept 1 thru most of October. Check their Facebook Posts and/or call for the latest U-pick information. I hear Asia Food Market has carried them. Also request your preferred grocer offer their pears. Grocers will be able to obtain their pears in storage, almost through the end of the year. In the past, they have also offered gift boxes/shipping. I like to support our Greater Rochester businesses.”

“For the last 3 years we have been buying our Chinese pears from Daniel. This place is very family oriented, welcoming, walkable and well marked. You can pick your own pears and if you choose not to do so then a stand is available for you to purchase them from there. The quality of the pears is exceptional and bursting with flavour. They are also very reasonably priced compared to the grocery stores. Fresh pear juice and local honey are also available to purchase. Absolutely love this place!”

“Amazing sweet and fragrant Asian pears. They have the texture of an apple, but taste of honey and flower. Most of the Korean pears you buy at the store are very pricey and huge, but they do not taste much like anything. Those are smaller, but packed with flavor. We are so blessed to have a pear orchard here!!!”

“Most unfriendly place in the community! Worst picking spot ever! Dirty barn with strange staff around. Extremely terrible for children. Taste is so-so, and the pears are so small. People were saying they picked the big ones for sale, and wait for the cheap labor to deal with the left-over. Watch out the scale.”
