Orbaker's Farm Market

“My Dad grew up on a Wayne County fruit farm in the 1920's and 30's. I first visited Orbaker's with Dad back in the 1950's. Over the years, I stopped at most of the farm markets in the area east of Rochester. For consistently high quality fruit at reasonable prices, I like Orbaker's best. Every year, I come for peaches, apples, pears, cherries and other produce, and sometimes baked goods in the fall. I always find excellent fruit and friendly people who seem to love what they do.”

“Favorite place for great apples that are very fresh. New varies come out regularly and often can’t be found anywhere else. They always let you try one to make sure you get apples you want. This is first trip of year and will be back all apple season. They always have other produce and right now the peaches looked great and they were very affordable. Make this a regular stop all fall.”

“We visited during the apple tasting tour and absolutely loved the newest variety of apples they had! We just had to purchase a bag! My mom is unable to bite into an apple because of her braces so they cut one up for her. It was also very nice that they allowed us to look at everything they had because we came only 3 minutes before they were due to close!”

“Great little spot in Lake Road in apple season. I am still going up there in December for wild crisp apples. But call first to make sure they are open. If they are not, Rachel has always met me there. FANTASTIC!”
