Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Alabama.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“Peach Park is such a great little rest stop — perfect for stretching your legs while traveling through. They offer fresh fruits and veggies when in season, along with a variety of jams, jellies, and baked goods. You can find delicious fresh-baked breads like peach bread, plus they have a deli and a hot food bar for heartier options. They also sell ice cream, fried pies, cobblers, and pastries. The peach fried pie is huge, fresh, and absolutely delicious — the crust is perfectly golden and flaky. The ice cream tastes fresh and creamy too. Inside, there’s a boutique with cute items, but the prices are on the higher side. The same goes for the Peach Park T-shirts — nice, but a bit pricey in my opinion. There are plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors — tables and chairs, picnic tables, swings, rocking chairs, and even a patio area. The decor is cute and welcoming, with some small gardens and walking paths around the property. Behind the store, there’s a paved trail that goes up a hill to a playground, and you’ll often spot birds and squirrels along the way. They’ve also set up several fun photo spots, including an old tractor with steps added so you can easily climb up for pictures. The bathrooms are clean, and the whole place has a friendly, charming vibe. A neat little stop — definitely worth pulling over for!”

“Very busy as expected worth all the summer travelers.. met my daughter up here to see my grandsons ❤️ we had a blast with the live music 🎶 and amazing food, of course the delicious ice cream 🍦 😋. It was extremely hot outside but we found some nice shaded areas to duck off to get cool. The loaded BBQ fries was good 👍🏼 and the fried green tomatoes 🍅 was pretty good as well.. nothing real special just a decent fried tomato. The homemade peach ice cream was sooo delicious.. you have to try it chunks of peaches in just about every bite..atmosphere was very inviting plenty of seating and things to do for everyone! Picture moments at every turn✨️ Staff very friendly and courteous, professional and get your order in and get you out with a smile 😃”

“Great One Stop Tourist Shop!!!! Food was great and there was the most adorable walking paths that are great for stretching your legs! The walking paths were a very easy walk, slightly wooded with shade and plenty of swings and rocking chairs to relax on for a break! In the shops there is a bbq restaurant with really good food! And they even sell local honey and fresh produce and canned goods! There are multiple gift shopping options and even a TINY COFFEE SHOP! I can’t believe I haven’t stopped here before! This will be a regular pit stop when traveling thru this area from now forward! MUST SEE!”

“We stayed at the Campground for one night as we were just passing through. Full hook up and water for $32.00 buck a night, work for us! Peach Park has breakfast from 5a~10am for purchase. We felt safe and it was conveniently located right off the Highway and is close to restaurants. There is a playground there for kids. Be sure to get some Peach Ice Cream during your stay 😋”

“Super cute farmers market, yummy ice cream, bbq plate was ok. Lovely place to bring the family though, had a beautiful garden and fun park in the back with big slides. Came here completely by surprise. The McDonald's across the streets ice cream machine was down, so we ventured and definitely happy we discovered and tried this place instead.”

“This place is a hidden gem and a halfway point to our new annual Destin trip. The food is amazing!!! You have to try the fried green tomatoes with the white sauce and the homemade peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream is phenomenal. The place is extremely clean and so are the bathrooms!”

“Nice farmers market and gift shop. A good selection of fresh produce. Tasty ice cream, fried pies and barbecue. The fried pies are huge! Coffee shop. Nice outside seating area. Cute playground. Excellent customer service.”

“What a fantastic place to visit. Homemade pies, cobbler, and Ice cream. There is a place for the kids to play, space to dine and great smelling BBQ!”
