“A Perfect Unexpected Escape at Perry Berry's Winery in Morganton, NC We stopped by Perry Berry's Blueberry Farm Winery & Vineyard today thinking we’d just pop in for a quick wine tasting… but wow — we ended up staying much longer and loving every minute of it! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the amazing family-run staff, who made the experience feel personal, relaxed, and fun. It’s clear this place is built with love — and you can feel it in everything they do. We also got lucky and connected with a couple of other guests during our visit, and it turned into one of those spontaneous, joyful afternoons you don’t want to end. Great wine, great people, great energy. ✨ Here’s what we loved: The wines — sweet, smooth, and seriously delicious (blueberry lovers, rejoice!) A beautiful, casual atmosphere perfect for relaxing and sipping Tasty food options available on site (because good wine deserves good snacks) Scenic views from the property — peaceful, green, and wide open Friendly animals on the farm — including a goat and a few curious donkeys who came to say hello And yes, they also offer hard cider… but we’re saving that for next time (and there will be a next time — soon!) Whether you’re local to Morganton or just passing through Western NC, make a point to stop by this gem of a winery. It’s family-friendly, guest-friendly, and totally worth the detour. “This place is such a gem!! My friend and I came up here on a beautiful day in the low 70’s, plenty of shady places and comfortable seating. The bistro menu is divine! I ordered the Market Delight (smoked chicken/mushrooms/tomatoes/spinach&artichoke dip) and the It’s Fall Y’all crepes (cream cheese/pumpkin/candied pecans/cake pieces and caramel drizzle. My friend got the Trailhead Turkey sandwich (turkey melt with onions/green pepper/pepper jack cheese with honey mustard drizzle). Everything was absolutely delicious and we’ll definitely return again and again! Their wines are delicious as well, they have an extensive semi-sweet list. Edit, a few days later - I just opened the bottle of Creekside Crush Sangria I brought home. Oh….my…..gosh!! Delicious!”

If you love Blueberries, if you love Nature, if you love Wine, if you love ICECREAM; Then Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your kids to this vineyard and winery!! Not only are the staff serving the nicest smiles and biggest of hearts, but icecreams, pies, blueberries and wines! I am a new customer, i live far but I know im coming back by next summer for sure!!”

“The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly!! The owners even came to talk to my husband and I and they were the sweetest people ever! I would HIGHLY recommend their cider flights along with with their wine flights! The flavors are incredible and we will be coming back in September to get a few bottles of their Autumn Spice cider, it was AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“This place is amazing. Wine is outstanding (they use their own fruits), view is spectacular, food at their Bistro is spectacular. If you're anywhere close in the area, stop! It's a great place to hit after hiking or mountain biking or a lake day at Lake James/Fonta Flora.”
