Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Best orchard in the area! No gimmicks, just fields and fields of beautiful, delicious apples. Prices were super reasonable, and they have enough variety of kinds of apples that even in a rough year for some kinds, they'll have plenty of others for picking. People there are also incredibly friendly and helpful. Apples themselves were crisp and sweet and we had a great time trying the different varieties. Made a delicious pie with them that evening and many more to come! I will be back next season!”

“my husband's family has been coming here for over 35 years! Big selection of apples, though they run out of honey crisps super quick. Even if you come saturday morning on opening weekend they're practically all picked out already. Staff is pretty friendly and nice, dogs are allowed too. they're always honest about the quality of the apple crop too. i'd highly recommend taking a drive to them. we come all the way from westchester to visit every year.”

“This is THE BEST orchard I've been to so far and I've been to many from Quebec to south New Jersey. The staff and owner were incredibly helpful and sweet, amazing variety of apples (the most delicious Empire in my life!), unfortunately, the pears were almost gone but we were aware of it from the beginning. The place is really nice itself and we had a lot of joy spending time among the threes. Highly recommend!”

“Had a nice afternoon picking apples and pears. This beautiful orchard is pretty big and spacious. There's no store so be sure to bring snacks and drinks. We saw people hanging out on the grass with a picnic basket and blanket. How relaxing!”

“I'm giving 2 stars instead of one because the orchard is beautiful. We wanted to pick pears specifically. Website suggested they had pears ready for picking. A far drive for us. The young girl showed us on the map the area we could find pears. There was not one tree with a pear on it. We mentioned on the way out with our empty bag that there were no pears left to pick. She says sorry. There are tons of fruit orchards in the area. Hopefully next time we dont leave empty handed”
