What you can pick
In September, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for New York, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Nice local goods and a great range of products paired with the NY farm experience and a cidery serving local brews and ciders, some made on the premises. We tried their merlot cider and it was superb and unique. They also offer some great food inside @ the Yummy kitchen in the greenhouse. The noodles were amazing. Enjoy the stand and have a drink in the garden and a bite at Yummy. You'll be happy you did.”

“I’ve been shopping here for over two decades. In the last few years they have gotten extremely popular and much busier and somehow they’ve managed to keep the same warm, local feel. If Cheers were a farm store, this would be it. Oh and of course they have great fresh produce and local foods and wonderful plants.”

“Nice place for organic food and other products. Got a few natural soaps and meat from here a few times. There was a lovely lady named Nicole who always served with a smile. Haven’t seen her in a while but she was one of my faves. Definitely check them out guys!”

“Looks cute. Stopped by hoping to pick up some strawberries. They do no strawberry u-pick. They do blueberries and some other berries later in the season. Prices at the store are way too high for me, unfortunately. Staff very busy and not too friendly.”
