Phillips Farms of Cary

“We came up from Fayetteville after getting some targeted ads for this place. We hadn't been here yet and the kids were a little lackluster about the one by our house after a few years in a row. Phillips' is really nice but WOW was it crowded. We were going to buy tickets in-person for the mil discount but when we arrived the line was so long we went ahead and did online checkout so we could hop in the much shorter prepaid line. The line out front probably should have prepared me for what inside was like too. We went on a Sunday, so shorter opening hours, but even with almost 4 hours left we were there til closing and still didn't manage to do everything with how long all the lines were. All that to say, the attractions themselves are nice, well kept, and the staff are friendly. My kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. But do plan to make it an all day activity if you want to get your money's worth.”

“What great experience we had! We enjoyed the cold apple ciders with apple cider donuts before we entered the farm and we took in all the ambiance in from the pumpkin carving to the hologram pumpkin story telling. What an amazing place! Inside we did the apple sling shots, corn maze, and walked through the beautiful sunflowers! We had a blast! I must say, every encounter we had with staff was friendly and very professional! Great job everyone who make this experience a memorable one!”

“Nov 29, we visited the Christmas Light Country walk. The lights were well done with a beautiful country Christmas theme. Easy walking, stroller friendly. . Fun activities for the children, bouncy house, tricycle ride, digging sandpit, animals to cuddle, and of course Santa and Mrs Claus, super sweet and short line. Warm fire pits in several areas to enjoy a break and have s'mores and cocoa. Also Christmas trees available. We really enjoyed our visit.”

“This was a great experience. Yes there was a line to buy your ticket, but they can be bought online before you go. The donuts were well worth the wait. They have a large pumpkin display with plenty of Instagram worthy photo opportunities. The weekend I went, they had fire trucks and large equipment for everybody to play on.”

“Amazing, it’s an attraction for all ages, especially now with the Haunted Philips Farm. They offer a variety of different activity’s ex: corn maze, apple launcher, apple slingshot, duck racing, flower picking, and much more. They have an alright variety of food. The corn maze was a little out of my expectations only reason for the 4 stars. Some parts were just a couple of patches of corn while in others it was thick. Overall I’d say staff is really kind and helpful. I recommend going during there apple festival, only downside sometimes capacity limits gets reached quick and some days they sell out of tickets so might as well plan ahead :)”

“Lots of stuff for the kids to do but it is a little pricey and the hot dogs were definitely not worth it or taste very good. It seemed like they were sitting out for a while. Lots of family friendly activities and it was a great experience with the kids”

“🚨 Cow train (ride). It’s not safe for kids nor adults. Debris flying in your face, small kids bouncing around w/no cushioned seats. Nothing protects the child while sitting in the cart; no seat belt, rubber siding (if kid hits head inside cart). The driver is speeding, therefore, everyone should definitely wear goggles & seat belt. There should be some sort of plexiglass in front of every cart to protect the individual from rocks, dirt, & hay from flying into their face. It’s like riding behind a dirt bike while sitting in a wagon (imagine sitting in the front wagon). This is the WORST & most UNSAFE farm ride I’ve ever been on with my kids. Thankful they had a wash station because we all needed it for our eyes & face. This cow train ride ruined our day at the farm. I do not recommend this ride until Phillips Farm think about SAFETY.”

“Peachfest was a MESS!!!!! My family and I attended Peachfest yesterday to get peaches, ice cream, and lemonade just like we did last year. Last year we were able to get all of those things without going into the main “fun” park, and this year thought we could do the same. Especially considering that there were signs, TikTok videos, and verbiage on their pages saying all of those would be available. Imagine how disappointed we all were to learn, after standing in the "ice cream" line for 30+ minutes on the hottest day of the year, that the actual peach ice cream was only in the park. Again there was ZERO indication that the line we were in had no peach ice cream. So to actually get peach ice cream would’ve cost $45 plus the cost of the actual price of the ice cream. That is the most absurd business practice I have ever heard in my life. Especially given the fact that last year everything was right out front and the park was just the park. Compared to last year's event and all of the other one's we've been to this one was a miss. Just felt like a cheap cash grab.”
