Pietree Orchard

“Easily the most scenic orchard I have been to. Beautiful views of the mountains and hills around (hint head into the orchard straight back from the farm stand for some of the best views). Plenty of parking, there is staff at the entrance to help direct traffic and make sure you can cross the road safely. Their wood fired pizza is good. We had their cheese and pepperoni pizzas, bother were prepared within 30 minutes. They had picnic tables available at the farm stand and out in the orchards. The farm store has a good variety of items to buy too (drinks, meats, veggies, pickled items, coffee, cider donuts, etc). Cider donuts have cinnamon and sugar shakers for you to add your own toppings, must have! Plenty of bathrooms around the farm stand and a few out in the orchards.”

“I've been going to Pietree for a few years now. They have a great selection of local produce and other products. The honey, peanut butter and oils are worth the trip alone. They make fresh donuts everyday and offer wood fired pizza. Pretty much any fruit native to Maine you can pick there. So far this year I've gotten their strawberries (best I've ever had) and blueberries. I didn't make it there for rasberries and it's isn't time for apples yet. I would highly recommend trying one of their homemade granola bars! So so so yummy!”

“Loved this orchard! We live in Portland so we had never gone here before but it was worth the trip. A lovely drive to/from, employees were so sweet, apples were amazing and the orchard was easy to navigate with lots of variety, and getting (delicious) pizza made it a great day trip. We also grabbed some baked goods and cider from the store- the mini pie was a favorite!”

“I brought the kids here to pick apples a few weeks ago! we had a good time though there were a lot of people. most people were in the building ordering and/or eating their famous pizza and some other yummy foods! they have a wide variety of apples and there is a great view of the white mountains!! 10/10 would recommend”

“We went for the apple picking and found much more, which made for a nice excursion. In addition to the delicious apples, cider, breads, honey, olive oils, cheese, pies, there is also a gift shop for t-shirts and sweatshirts, and best of all a wood fired pizza oven serving hot and fresh pizza by the slice or whole pies.”
