“(Visited October 5th) Sparrowhawk Orchard is incredible! The drive there is stunning, the orchard itself has absolutely breathtaking mountain views, and everything is so well put together! It's impressively sized, you can walk or drive through areas outlined in their map which also details their varieties and location of apples! Picnics are welcomed and there's fresh cider for sale to enjoy there or take home! We brought cash but I believe they also accepted Venmo. Such a beautiful place with so much heart and soul poured into it!”
“Great apple orchard near downtown Bethel! Big selection of apple varieties, as well as apple cider, maple syrup, pumpkins, and more. Gorgeous view of the mountains in the distance while you pick. Family-owned by locals who love sharing their farm with the community and with visitors. Don't miss this orchard if you are in or near Bethel! (Note, the orchard is about 3.3 miles on Grover Hill Rd from Route 5.)”
“My husband and I visited Sparrowhawk Orchard in September 2025. We had the best time - some of our favorite things were the chickens, the pigs, and of course the apple cider! The view was also stunning. Great place to bring your pup (leashed with doggie bags!) without crazy crowds!”
“Just top notch. Incredible views of the mountains and valley. Great selection of apples. Trees are very healthy. Owner was very friendly and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the orchard. A bit off the grid but a very special place.”
