“Green's is my favorite local orchard! It's never super busy, unlike some other Madison area locations. Sure... Their available selection at any one time is not quite as big as other orchards-- But if you know what you want, Mr. Green will tell you exactly when that variety will be available for sale. They do carry some unique varieties, including a few russet type apples that I've never been able to get anywhere else. Prices can't be beat. I come back here every year.”
“Small, family run orchard. Drove up there from Illinois because they are one of the closest places for Wealthy apples. Which, by the way, are the best apples. The owner was there and was not only super knowledgeable but also super friendly. Worth the 4 hour drive and I plan on making it a regular visit come wealthy apple season next year. Also, forgot to mention, the prices are fabulous.”
