Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“There was a lot of stuff to do here. We did two corn stalk mazes (the first one is easy kind of like a tutorial), then managed to catch the last 2 of 3 pig races around 3 pm. A lot of games set up. The cider shake was really good and we took home some donuts for later (and cider mustard from gift shop). We did the tractor rides and I could fit on the bigger of the tricycles. Ended the day with a final pig race at 5 pm with better seats The place was maybe 5x bigger than I imagined it would be. Bring quarters if you want to feed the goats. For the tractor ride, if you're tall the seatbelt might be too tight (hopefully they will fix this in the future), although I did see adults ride it still.”

“My husband and I stopped by Schuster's Farm for Blooms on the Farm. It was amazing. So many happy bees, butterflies, birds and other creatures. There are many activities for all ages - we competed against each other at shooting hoops, throwing baseballs and footballs. We had a blast. I came out of the fields with a cup overflowing with zinnias, cosmos and sunflowers. Seeing so many happy pollinators in their happy place was rewarding in the most heartwarming way. I can't wait to go back next year!”

“Went on a rainy day and it was still so much fun! I don’t even have kids but had a blast playing the backs yard game with my boyfriend. Drinks were great, especially the mulled wine. The maze was frustrating but fun. HOWEVER, DO NOT GET THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE, it is so bad. Overall great experience and I am excited to come back on a nicer day.”

“We had such a great time on the farm today! At first based on parking I wanted to turn around but honestly the property is so big that it didn’t even seem that busy! All lines moved quickly and you can tell it’s properly maintained. We spent 4 hours here with our kids age 3-11 and could have easily stayed all day exploring. I highly recommend!”

“Wonderful time picking Zinnias and Sunflowers. The music was good and we enjoyed the nachos and drinks. Even played a few games. Stsyed from 4:30 to 8:15pm. Lots of fun!”

“A fun fall afternoon for all ages! Although the farm is more geared towards kiddos, it was super fun for a 20-something couple as well. We loved the hayride and cannons (even though they are super loud!). Parking and lines can be a bit crazy on the weekend, and lots of kiddos can make for fall time chaos so be prepared for that. Overall a fun time though!”

“This is a cute experience... the farm seems to change up what they offer as the seasons change. I went just to pick zinnias, but detoured over to admire the baby goats. Nice people who pivoted to offer entertainment and probably make money now. Well done”
