Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Colorado.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Seriously fun! We've been to the Covered Bridge, but decided to try Punk's this year. We went with a homeschool group of about 90 of us. It was AMAZING!! The staff was top notch and easy to work with. Best part of all is that EVERYTHING is included in the cover price: pumpkins, the pony rides, the inflatables, the tractor train ride, the COOLEST petting zoo ... they don't nickle and dime a parent to death! The only extra charge was $1 for a bag of carrots and food pellets for the petting zoo, but it was totally optional and not needed since all the animals were so friendly. They also set up a free scavenger hunt for the older kids, complete with prizes for when they finished! I truly felt like they went above and beyond! They even offered free, unlimited bottles of water. It was awesome! It's definitely not the most scenic place - kind of just a big open field. If you're looking to take Fall family photos, you'd probably do better at The Covered Bridge in Montrose. But for affordable family fun, TONS of activities and things to do, this is your place! (My kids all liked Punk's the BEST). There's quite a bit of dust, and a petting zoo. I recommend good shoes, but not ones that are hard to get on or tie since the kids are constantly kicking them off to go on the inflatables. Also, bring your fifth best socks. They'll get filthy and worn out, but are required for the inflatables. GREAT for big groups. They had covered picnic tables they reserved for us, and the price of $7pp with a group over 20 definitely made it worth the trip from Montrose. We will for sure be returning next year!”

“Awesome visit!!! 🌻🐪🐴🐷🐇🐥🐢 My two daughters-in -law, 3 young grandchildren, and myself had a wonderful time yesterday! There are sooo many activities to play on: inflatable slides, two zip-lines, a corn kernel pit, and a train ride. Their odd assortment of animals to pet is pretty cool; camels, a tortoise, pigs, etc, plus pony rides! A very kind and knowledgeable young man offers information about all the animals. There is a lady who grows some very interesting heirloom pumpkins and hatches chicks. The admission price: $10 for ages 6 and up (5 & under -free) is worth it!! Thanks to everyone! I plan on visiting again with more grandchildren! 😁 And don't forget to pick out a pumpkin from the feild to take home!”

“We've been coming here for years and we still enjoy it every time we visit. There's several inflatables for the kiddos to enjoy, slides, corn pit, toddler area, zip lines, petting zoo, swings, tires, pony rides, a merry-go-round, picnic area, and pumpkins come with admission. It is a little dusty, but you can't beat the prices, and the kids always have fun! You do have to pay extra for snowcones, food, beverages, and food for the animals at the petting zoo, but it's not an absolute necessity.”

“This is an amazing Fall Family experience! Activities are for the young and young at heart (that have the ability to climb etc.) Really awesome staff and great varieties of pumpkins! They even have carts you can pull your goods around in while the kids play, super awesome! I'll be a seasonal regular!! Just a couple photos of their great little petting zoo, don't want to spoil all the fun 😄”

“This was so much fun! Great kid activities and the corn maze was great!! Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend it!!”

“The kids loved it, Wholesome, plenty to do!!!”

“This is a fun little, small town event. The corn maze is fun and the selection of pumpkins were great. The kids enjoyed the pony rides and the petting zoo, but the camel seemed a little sad.”

“Local and good folks and fun little farm...my only gripe is it started raining as soon as we got in and paid all that money then they started putting animals away, the riding ponys away, it was wet miserable. I know they can't control the weather, but I feel little more integrity would refund and or at least a rain check day for free....80 bucks and my daughter jumped in corn for 2 minutes and got a cold.. lol. Please think about us who support you, we do appreciate you and keeping the gates open, but you need to look out for all those who this happens to, it's not like you carge a cheap price, you charge a super premium for what is offered, but we all want to support you...support us back and don't just take our money next year, work in a rain check program for people 2hrs and under or something. Thanks”
