Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“For sure 5 stars. Very affordable and lots of activities for tha kids. Corn maze for kids. Several inflatables for all different ages. Some animals into view. Several hay rides going at the same time so you don’t really wait. Face painting as well. Very nice staff. Had a great time. I highly recommend this place for sure. We will continue to come. Nice selection of pumpkins too. They don’t have food concessions so eat before you get there. It’s perfect for the kids.”

“We went to Red Wolf Farm on a Sunday at 10 am because there wasn't another one around that opened before 1 pm on a Sunday, and it did not disappoint. Huge space, lots of animals, bounce houses, toys, basketball, hay rides, corn pits, and corn mazes, all included in admission. There were lots of food options, cute vendors, and pumpkins for purchase. Great experience!”

“Awesome place to bring kids, good country vibe, food, and drinks available on site. Found food and drink to be very reasonably priced and fair. $8 per person gets you all the amenities, including hay rides, corn mazes, inflatables, corn tables, and much more. We drove 50 minutes and would gladly drive again to visit, also bought huge pumpkins for only $10 each.”

“Love this farm! It was a great price and my kids played all day! They had so many activities included with the price. We stayed 4 hours and my kids wanted to play more. I was able to talk with the owner at the front and learned it was a family owned farm. What a great fall activity! We will be going every year!!!0”

“My second year coming to red wolf farm with the family and I absolutely love it!! Everyone is in great spirits and that’s a plus. Food trucks, local vendors, animals, tractor rides, large spacious play areas for the kiddos, lots of parking… I could go on and on…. There’s nothing not to love about it!”

“I had fun as soon as I got out of my car. Something for the entire family. In the middle of a field with beautiful trees and sky all around. The maze is really fun and the corn is just tall enough that you don't lose your kids.”

“First time here. Great little place to bring the kids to have fun. Great place to get the whole family together. Loved all the activities for the kids and family to do together.”

“The farm is a great family fun activity for you to come and enjoy with your family and is very kid friendly”
