A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in North Carolina.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Payment notes on file: Mastercard, VISA. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“This was a really fun experience for me and my girlfriend to do for a part of our anniversary I genuinely have zero complaints or could not think of any. The people are really nice even though they weren’t there there was water cups and a cooler sitting out which was really nice to have at the end I also think that it’s really cool that they take cash and card and if there’s a button that you can press if you do need help or assistance or just have a question that you want to ask but altogether, this was a berry great experience And I am definitely planning on coming back next week when their flowers are Ready to be picked. This place definitely deserves the five stars and we also got two little visitors, which just made it so much funner and i wish i could give it more than 5 stars”

“This place is awesome and $12 a gallon (4.5 pounds) is an awesome price. In Michigan near Manchester I paid about $2.5 per pound and they were grown in a former bog which is ideal for blueberries. They had more varieties on smaller plants. Some signage as to the different varieties would have been cool, but not necessary. I'm 6'4" and lots of plump ones were up high. But I could see evidence where people bent a branch down and broke it off. Also bending the branches down can lead to blueberries brushing against other branches and falling on the ground. I did pick a lot of really nice blueberries up off the ground where other people had dropped them. I like that they are open at sunup which is great when the sun is really strong outside.”

“I went to pick blueberries and they were delicious. He also sells flowers but I did not check those because I was pushed for time. The picking season is short but it's a great venue if you like this kind of thing. Next going to pick apples.stay tuned.”

“Wonderful, well maintained place for picking blueberries. They also have flowers you can cut as well. Loved the choice of half gallon ($8) or gallon ($16) for the blueberries. Highly recommend this farm!”
