Rowe's House of Apples

“We had a very good experience in Rowe Orchard. We visited from Texas in 2017 Fall. Ed, the owner, was very kind to show us the orchard (supposed to be closed on that day, but I guess he saw the disappointment in our eyes so he let us in). He also gave each of us a huge Honey Crisp apple to take away. There were various kinds of apples, Honey Crisp, McIntosh, Gala, Golden Delicious... they are all juicy. We were allowed to get on the tractor on the back of the house and Erin was so sweet taking picture for us. Beautiful scenes and warm hospitality. Wonderful memories for my parents. Highly recommended!”

“High quality apples, GREAT Family Farm who truly care that their apples meet State and Federal Regulations. They made #47 out of ALL Apple Orchards in ALL of New England!! They are used to feed local Schools, sell to about 10 Stores, some are saved to make Apple Cider and spiked cider too. Any unusable get sent to local food pantries and a few end up out back for 2 very lucky horses 🐎 😀”

“I came for apples and cider donuts, but my favorite take home was the Carolina BBQ sauce my wife spotted. First class BBQ sauce. Even better, it’s made local. Unfortunately, the donuts never made it home. I was surprised to see a large range of apples for so late. We were very happy to find honey crisp. I think the donuts are mostly a Fri Sat thing.”

“We enjoy going to Rowe's orchard as frequently as possible. The staff are friendly and most helpful. The apples and other fruit and vegetables are absolutely the best! Let's not forget the cider and fresh cider doughnuts! The hot mulled cider is to die for. We travel from Bangor to get there. We love it.”

“There is SO much more here than just apples! Jams, jellies, apple butter, salad dressings, beans, salsas, whole pies, cider, cheddar cheese, DELICIOUS apple cider donuts (cinnamon, sugar, and plain), and more! The prices are great too!”

“Bought 1/2 peck McIntosh (fancy).Started eating them when I got home. Noticed difference in crispness in some apples, some looked older than others. Found 5 apples in different stages of "mush" less than 1 week after buying them. Very disappointed, thanks but no thanks.”
