Royal Oak Farm Orchard

“Finally decided to stop in to see Royal Oak Farm Apple Orchard. What a hidden gem this place is. Deep in the heart of Harvard Illinois farm country just south of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is one of the best apple orchards in the region. Huge 160 acres of orchard and all kinds of things for entertainment like shops, a bakery, restaurant, flower garden, carousel etc. They take you out to the orchard in tractor pulled wagons so you can pick literally 30 different kinds of apples. They had a wide variety of baked goods including all things apple duh and cookies, pies (which I got the cherry crumble which had 3 different kinds of cherries) and even carrot cake fudge. The highlight for me was the maze. An apple tree maze that is the largest one in America and searching the internet maybe in the World. The maze covers over 4 acres and features 1.5 miles of walking trails with 3,000 trees. At the center of it is a tower you can climb and see it all and the beautiful countryside. I’m thinkin’ a great place to pop the question. We were asked to solve a word puzzle with areas of the maze that had word clues. Thankfully with my companion, the internet, phone a friend and ask the audience we were able to solve it and get one of the best free apple cider donuts I’ve ever had. Only August 22nd through October 31st. You got to get one of their donuts!”

“My husband and I have celebrated every wedding anniversary at Royal Oak Farm Orchard to restock on our jams and jellies as well as picking out our apples to make pie with. It is such a pleasure to come every year, and we look forward to be here during the fall to see the outdoor petting zoo, the children’s amusements and especially the staff at the fudge stand. Everyone is so kind and welcoming thank you to all the staff and everyone that makes this experience amazing! 🤩 We will definitely be coming every single year on our wedding anniversary in October, and we will stock up on our jams and jellies (as always) Also the pies are out of this world! They’re delicious!”

“Loved, loved this place! Picked apples, went through an apple maze, and won a free donut. You had to complete a phrase, like in wheel of fortune, by finding the letters in the apple orchard maze. The gift store and other store have really great choices! I bought a couple items. The kids activities are over-the-top great! Great place to bring children. Check out the pictures and it's self explanatory. And SO much more, too! Spent about 3.5 hours here. I heard the lunch at the restaurant was very good, but I didn't get a chance to eat there.”

“Clean property. There are areas to choose from picking apples to visit the maze, kids place for games and visit farm animals. Spacious stores where can buy ready picked applesand other thingsthe store offers. On the property there is gift shop and restaurant. This is a friendly place for any age.”

“This is an amazing place to bring your family! It has stuff to do for all ages, yes even my teenage kids enjoyed it. The apple tree maze was especially fun because you can eat the apples while you're getting lost in the maze. All the employees were very helpful and awesome to be around!”

“Activity area is for little kids. We'd hoped the putt putt would be much bigger. Apple maze was pretty cool. The varieties available in early October were just ok. Very Bible forward gift areas. Excellent fudge.”
