“Can’t believe I’ve not reviewed Rustic Road Farm yet ! I personally have been a customer since 2014 and have watched their amazing growth over the years. First & foremost this is a working farm as opposed to a purely retail operation. This confuses some potential customers who want to pop over to shop retail & visit the baby goats outside of their “open hours”. The farm open hours generally are on Wed / FRI / SAT when they bring in staff to manage the retail sales. All of the amazing prepared foods & baked goods are the result of an executive Chef from Lettuce Entertainment Restaurants who followed a dream to launch an organic farm. Back to the farm being the primary focus of the business…… - you might stop by wanting to grab some Cottage Bacon (if you’ve not tried it yet you’re missing out) or tomato bacon soup or a carrot cake - and you might find any of these items out of stock in the coolers - always ask if perhaps there’s more around - but if not - remember it’s a farm & I see the prepared foods as an amazing bonus. I’ll typically grab something else to try and always have been so happy with the item(s) Every Spring (primarily March) baby goats are born at the farm & families are encouraged into the back barn for a seat on a bail of hay to safely sit and hold newly born goats. It’s a precious experience. I’m a very visual shopper & realized there weren’t too many photos of the retail products so grabbed a bunch this past Wednesday. Look into their CSA offerings - they are wonderful. I forgot to grab a photo of their farm fresh eggs. Around the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) there’s usually an extra holiday market open day where you’ll find many items for your table. Personally our family’s Thanksgiving has not been without Chef Marc’s turkey 🦃 gravy for at least 5 years now. IYKYK 😋 Hope you enjoy the photos”

“We came for some of their eggs and honey but had such a great time feeding the baby goats. We thought that there were also pigs and pheasants but did not see them. There was such a long line to purchase items but it was worth it. We bought their chicken salad and it was so fresh and tasty. There were so many goods and we will go back to try some of the other items. Suggest to get there early because with so many people, baked goods sell out fast.”

“Adorable! Holding baby goats is no cost, and they also have baked goods, produce, soups, meats etc. Parking is easy and staff is friendly. 10/10 should visit! They were busy when we were there on a Saturday morning, but we were able to hold goats pretty quickly and there was no wait to check out.”

“We absolutely love this farm! They have an excellent selection of meat, fresh vegetables, and goat dairy products. Plus, kids can feed and pet the goats and even meet the cow, which makes it such a fun experience for the whole family.”

“Super friendly and helpful store staff. Shop the farm fresh food then go see the animals. We saw goats that were born last night. Love the freshness of the vegetables! Reasonable farm to table prices. We will be back.”
